"A member of the Bloods gang was charged yesterday with the killing of a Hunter College student after the victim left a meeting of the Universal Zulu Nation, a peaceful group tied to the hip hop music world.
Michael Brown, 23, of the Bronx, was accused of shooting Matthew Hall, 17, in the back on 126th St. and Fifth Ave. in September 2003 as Hall and other Zulu Nation members were running away after seeing Brown's gun.
Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said that before the shooting, other Bloods had harassed a woman in the Zulu Nation group, and when she was defended, the gang members got reinforcements, including Brown.
Brown pleaded not guilty yesterday to Hall's killing and the unrelated 2005 murder of Goldburn Gill of East Harlem."

And PS: Not for nothing, but the real Zulu Nation is about as un-peaceful a group as has ever existed. And imagine how flat-out dumbass it would be for Irish immigrants to form a group calling itself Sicilian-Nation simply because well, after all it's the same race and wow, sounds cool, eh?
