A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Coronation...

January 4, 2008 -- DES MOINES, Iowa - "Awaiting her coronation here last night, Hillary Rodham Clinton instead faced a seething revolt within her own party.

More than 70 percent of Iowa Democrats rejected her bid to get back into the White House.

And so, after 15 years of domination, the Clinton dynasty has finally lost its grip on the Democratic Party.

More than anything else, Clinton's campaign was built upon the aura of inevitability.

That's now shattered and left in Iowa's frozen cornfields.

What's devastating to her is that she lost so badly to such a political novice..."

The absolute LAST thing Iowans wish for is change. They simply believed that Hussein would be more gentle with their farm subsidies than Hillary the New Yawka. Which is why I'm not reading all that much into her ignominious defeat there. In a general election he still takes California and NY and Ohio over ANY of the lukewarm Republicans, and should do well in the primaries, too. Liberals, you see, are torn between voting for the woman versus voting for the black guy. Midwesterners and Southerners will hesitate to place their entitlement monies in the hands of a woman that knows diddly about their needs and let's face it; casting a vote for a black man is the epitome of political correctness, and hell, Hillary doesn't even come off female at all. As far as the female vote goes, anyone believing a gal will select another gal when a studdish male is in the offing doesn't know straight women very well at all now..

And on the real American side of the aisle?

Well, Julie Annie is an American but how real remains to be seen. All true Conservatives are fearful of his taking over the top position on a national level and it'll probably come down to the far more sophisticated southerners realizing that he's the best bet to trump RodHam or Hussein.

Should Julie take Florida...and he remains ahead of Huckleberry by 8 or so points...then NY and California are pretty much guaranteed because there is one thing Conservatives surrounded by liberals hate and thats a phony Conservative. Fred is dead, but no one is asking anyone else to face facts because hope springs eternal as it should. McCain most likely squeaks by in New Hampshire, but then what? I've yet to mention Romney because his act...spend, spend, spend...is officially over and done with and I simply don't know what his new strategy, and he desperately NEEDS a new strategy, will be. There's only room enough for one uber-religious candidate and Huckle seems to have donned that mantle so where Mr. Mitt goes from here is anyone's guess.
