Brady Grades

That's where the Brady Bunch, those rapscallion gun haters grade a state as to the availability of evil weapons. Here's the 1999 and 2003 comparison (am trying to look at the latest list but AOL crashed whenever I click into a .pdf and that makes it slow going) so you can see if your state is getting better or worse, and a caveat or two is in order. Since Florida instituted it's no-retreat law, the Brady kids went into such a snit that they dropped the grade to an F, and that's so frickin cool. Can't wait for the full list of 2005's best-places-to-live-because-people-can-actually-defend-themselves-against-the-thugs-that-liberals-love-protecting.

Interestingly enough, as if you didn't already know, the states with the highest grades have the highest violent crime rates. Hawaii, California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland...all bastions of minority liberty paid for by the majority sheeple.

So basically it boils down to this; if you're thinking of moving to these fine United States, pick the state with the lowest Brady mark and it's a dead-locked guarantee that crime will be relatively low and the folks in general a lot friendlier. Amazing what the right to protect oneself can do to a gangsta's slection of where HE sets up business.

Which brings me to another even more politically incorrect stat, but the numbers don't lie nor do mine own eyes. Whenever you find a state that's borderline regarding the Brady number, look a lot deeper of course but you will always, repeat always find that the cities containing the most minorities have the highest level of violent crimes and can drag an entire state down with regards to statistics. New Orleans and Louisiana, for example. LA and California, Sioux City and Iowa, etc. So find a state with a bad Brady score then look for a city within that has the fewest minority presence and the next step is find a job and call U-Haul.
