IRAN'S NUKES, EUROPE'S FOLLIES

By AMIR TAHERI

(Subtitled: Taheri's Whinge)

"This is one of those regimes that will not stop until they hit something hard. Why should they, when they can pursue their objectives cost-free? Soft power may work — if it is backed by hard power. Yet Europe has, once again, made it clear that it would oppose even the threat of hard power.
As things stand, all those concerned in this carnival of absurdities have reason to be happy: The Europeans get rid of the hot potato, the Bush administration finds a diplomatic fig-leaf to cover its lack of an Iran policy..."

Ah, Amir, you've just fallen into the same Clueless Corner as the Dims. The Administration doesn't have to tell you, me, or anyone what it's policy on Iran has been and will be. Because it's not rocket science, kiddo. Let the Euro's do some heavy lifting for a change while we fight the Islamic threat elsewhere, and when, not if, but when they fall flat on their widdle faces we cruise missile the ever loving shit out of the Iranian bomb factories. Now call me the next time you forget the Republican method for dealing with rabid dogs before you go ahead and start saying silly things again.
