War On Guns, Only-One Style

Question: What do the local "Only Ones" REALLY think about fellow citizens/law abiding gun owners?

At least in Manassas Virginia.
Sailor Curt provides the answer. Apparently some friends went to a pizza place, and since it serves beer, they switched from concealed carry to open, as required by law. A patron got his knickers in a wad and called 911, and "The Only Ones" proceeded to harass "The Tony's 7" as only 'The Only Ones" can.

My favorite part of the first-hand account:
Once outside, one of our party had a copy of the ABC letter explaining the legality of open carry and a copy of the VA State Police web page[Emphasis added--DC]. When approached, one of the group of officers said, "don't come over here and fight us" and that he "didn't need to see our damn letters". His supervisor, wasn't interested in talking either.

It has been my experience to discover that law enforcement, generally speaking, really really really hates the thought of mere civvies parading about with firearms. The largest police departments in the nation happen to reside within liberal locales, so but of course the storm troopers disguised as protect & serve'ers are all for erasing the 2nd Amendment. What's the point of going through all that poor, strike that, extensive training, when any old citizen can be similarly equipped.

This is why it remains important to appreciate the upstanding officers of the law, no matter how rare they may be, because they are in fact so rare. I've known many an honorable cop. Problem is, the majority have been ghastly.
