SAN ANTONIO -- A man was run over by his own car Monday as he tried to repair it in a San Antonio neighborhood.
Witnesses told police the man was fixing his car after it broke down. Suddenly, the vehicle went in reverse and made several doughnuts and ran over him. "The first time it missed him," said Mando Carrasco, who witnessed the incident. "The second time, it clipped him ... and his legs twisted. The third time it just bumped him off."
I found the above while looking for a local Florida story heard on the radio today. 51 year-old Hubert...I didn't quite catch his last name...was working on HIS car when it suddenly jumped into gear, ran over, and killed him. The vehicle wasn't on blocks, or jacked in any way, it just shifted itself from Park to Drive and thats all she wrote. The news reader reported this as calmly as if he were telling us about the chance of rain in the forecast, and not that its all that important but I'll keep my eye out for the full story.
