House passes non-binding anti-war resolution
Democrats push through vote against Bush 'surge' plan; GOP warns vote will embolden terrorists.This is the best they can come up with? Non-binding? Like children asking for a do-over? I'm so very happy the democrats wrangled control as is this is going to be one funny ass slapstick venture after another as they prove their salt. Back when they figured Iraq would be a cakewalk, each and every one of them was crowing about how their "independent" analysis led them to the conclusion that Saddam Hussein was a threat and needed to be dealt with.
But whoops! Things turned rough and that signaled the time for dems to turn tail. They specialize in bragging and/or running, and fervently hope that such cowardice will be rewarded come '08.
