GENEVA — "Car crashes are the leading cause of death worldwide for people between 10 and 24, the U.N. health agency said Thursday, adding that most such fatalities occur in developing countries with poor road safety conditions.
Nearly 400,000 young people under 25 are killed in traffic accidents every year and millions more are injured or disabled, the World Health Organization said."
Not that WHO has a clue, but the numbers at least are probably close to being accurate. In this modern, live-forever-or die-trying world of kiss the boo-boo fanatics who seem to believe that nature should single THEM out for immortality, there are those among us who will never understand that the natural order of things includes an expiration date.
And to them it's a shock that kids are killed in cars?
Stop the presses.
