Gunman Kills Hostage, Himself at Johnson Space Center in Houston
HOUSTON, Texas — A NASA contract worker armed with a handgun Friday killed a hostage and then himself after a nearly four-hour standoff in an office building at Johnson Space Center, Houston police said.
A second hostage, a woman, escaped with minor injuries, said Houston Police Capt. Dwayne Ready.
Text messages from a student in the middle school, received by a FOX 26 News employee, read:

"MOM I HAVE A BIG STORY FOR YOU FOR FOX"

"WE ARE IN LOCK-DOWN. CAN'T TALK"

"THEY SAY THAT THERE IS A GUNMAN AT JOHNSON SPACE CENTER. BUILDING 44, AND THE DOOR KEEPS GETTING PUSHED AND HANDLE IS GETTING JIGGLED. THE HANDLE TO THE DOOR IN THE PORTABLES [CLASSROOM]."

"[WE] ARE IN THE PORTABLES CLOSEST TO THE SPACE CENTER BUILDING."

"...THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE REALLY FREAKING OUT."

"THEY ARE SAYING STUFF LIKE OMG, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE. GOING INTO HISTERICS AND CRYING A WHOLE LOT AND SWEARING A WHOLE BUNCH."

"OKAY. THEY GAVE US THE ALL-CLEAR."
Another sicko kills himself and takes someone else with him. Good Lord but the anti's will be in high gear over this.
