al-Reuters At It Again

Bush 'encouraged' despite report on Iraqi troops

The report al-Reuters is referring too is a complicated one that requires at least a 5th graders understanding of English, hence the Congress and the Press are wallowing in confusion.

There are MORE trained Iraqi troops than ever. There are MORE highly trained Iraqi troops than ever. What the Pentagon did was raise the bar as to what was to be considered as Grade-A, if you would, in effect saying that top of the line units should have more combat experience, so we're dropping the total number of troops that are to be considered as such until they get more time facing the elephant. There aren't any fewer Iraqi battalions as 80% of ALL operations are being led by, or contain significant numbers of Iraqi's, and they ALREADY have a FAR HIGHER standard of proficiency than their predecessors under SoDam, and are light years ahead of the goat molestors in Iran.

Why WOULDN'T the President be encouraged? It's too confusing for lefties to fathom? Granted.
