While we're getting the barbeques fired up and watching our Sunday fare of football and baseball, or, heaven forbid, something that even looks like it could be called soccer, it'd be nice to give a moment or two of our collective leisure time to thank the soldiers sailors and marines who are fighting in Iraq this day, especially the ones who are cleaning out yet another nest of vermin this time in the village of Sadah near the Syrian border.

It's impossible to fight a perfect war but this one comes close. Forget the abject nonsense we all hear from the yellowstream media and focus on the reality that the enemy is being humbled by our men and women in uniform and thank them for these sacrifices in any way you can.

Everyone likes to know that their work is appreciated, and people preparing to offer their lives so that we might enjoy our bounty should be honored by our thoughts, words, and deeds whenever possible.

NOW GO KICK THEIR SCUMMY ASSES GUYS. Ooh-rah
