One last time

Until something pisses me off again.

Trolls used to go back under their bridges once the rays of the dawning day approached, but in this modern era they have blogs and websites, and will leap out at any given time. Now they're bitching about the body armor nonsense and I will not link to them because encouraging bad behavior is wrong. They've taken this occasion, as they do most tragedies, and have tried to turn it into a political rant because standing atop the heap of fallen heroes is how these asswipes get their attention and their jollies.

Troops do not want MORE body armor, they want BETTER body armor. They don't wear half of what they have most of the time because it's hot and uncomfortable and soon come to the realization that running can be as important if not MORE so than standing still. Problem is technology can only go so far so fast and making lighter, more flexible bullet resistant vests and helmets and yes, even jockstraps, is damned near impossible at this stage of the game.

We've hit a wall. A temporary wall to be sure, but what's new sucks because it's too heavy and restricting. You DO NOT rush things into combat because the liberals have traveled even further along the road to perditions flame by complaining that men are dying because the Pentagon or the Administration doesn't give a shit. These are REAL people getting killed, you fucks. Dammitall but I've worn everything out there and nothing is foolproof and more weight is not the answer.

They'll get BETTER when better is possible. Don't start me on how we have things available today that were undreamt of when I first went into America's service. Time marches on at it's OWN pace, not yours or some other dirty scumbag who uses dead men to make a political point.

Copy that?
