So Intelligent Design has been shown to have misrepresented itself as science. Big deal. Happens every day. Lots of those with a pig in a poke try selling it based upon some fraudulent scheme, some imaginary science, but what bothers ME about Intelligent Design, the REAL forces behind Intelligent Design, is the fact that they misrepent themselves as a religion. Speaking for a silent deity. Among the hundreds of available deities and those who worship them, the ID'ers figured that thousands of years of looking to the heavens to find just the right god was over and that they had the inside scoop on which one was the real deal. And not just for personal reasons, oh no. That'd be easily forgiven. But THEIR deity had to be the one and only deity the entire country must believe in.

That, my friends, is the epitome of hubris.
