Ground Shifted Beneath Levees
"Engineers and experts" are saying that the rapid sinking of the Louisiana coast COULD have contributed to the levee failure in New Orleans. Sure. The city and state government knew nothing about this, since the last time they spent any federal monies on levees instead of docking facilities for luxury yachts was when?
I do love how they trot out apologetic 'experts' to try and save the hides of Blanco and Nagin'..."oh wow it weren't their fault...look the ground was sinking at the same time the sky was falling!", but please bear in mind that professional does NOT mean expert.
