Stop The ACLU Blogburst Thursday Wingding

Update: Right on cue, the ACLU are sueing for prisoners’ “right” to have access to porn.

"I am going to assume that most people can agree that America’s population is found across a vast political spectrum. From libertarians and liberals to moderates and conservatives we find each other across a broad field on ideas and issues. Many times we can all agree that certain things are problems within society yet be on the opposite extremes on how to solve that problem. One of the problems of society that most people can agree on is that of crime. The solution to reducing this problem most likely is found somewhere in the middle and not the extremes."

Understanding the American Civil Liberties Union is not difficult, but creating a weekly blogburst to get the word out is, so it is unfair of me to criticize amateur writers doing the best they can when trying to be a light in the darkness. And that's why I feature them at least once a week. Not for the gestalt of it all, certainly not for the "hits" because if that's what I intended it would be a simple task to go into a conservative AOL chatroom, as I've experimented with on occasion, and soon generate a thousand or so page views a day without hardly trying. I moved to Blogger to somewhat escape the hive mind, but turning the daily rants into nothing more than a diary of recent fishing expeditions is better left to those with no other reason for living than to inform the world how peachy keen they are.

But it is with a small sense of embarassment that I pass along efforts I find disjointed and lacking, yet what we have is what there IS, and until professionals exert the time and effort to pass along their thoughts on the matter I'll continue to participate in what is available because if even one person finds the grail then space on a Thursday has not been wasted.

That said, the caveat remains that nothing new is offered but rote can be helpful. The ACLU cherrypicks "rights" in accordance with ultra leftwing ideas. You can read all about it by clicking the headline link.
