Russert Dead At 58

WASHINGTON — "Wherever Tim Russert went — in politics, in television, in writing — and even in a suit — he was big.

Russert, the hard-hitting but big-hearted moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press," died at work Friday at age 58. He reportedly had a heart attack."

Difficult to imagine someone simply keeling over and dropping dead nowadays. I never liked the man but not even Jurassic Journalists deserve that.

Referring to a man who has just collapsed and died of a heart attack as "big-hearted" is something even I'd shy from no matter how unlikeable the fella happened to be. Guess when you piss off the Clintons all bets are off.
