The cost of harboring illegal immigrants in the United States is a staggering $113 billion a year -- an average of $1,117 for every “native-headed” household in America -- according to a study conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
The study, a copy of which was provided to FoxNews.com, “is the first and most detailed look at the costs of illegal immigration ever done,” says Bob Dane, director of communications at FAIR, a conservative organization that seeks to end almost all immigration to the U.S.
FAIR's opponents in the bitter immigration debate describe the organization as "extremist," though it is regularly called upon to testify before Congress.
Now this is something anyone with even half a brain...and that includes politicians, mind you...can figure out all by their lonesome without any assistance from this or that study that does nothing but reinforce a gut feeling seasoned with a little common sense.
The math is simple; states with an illegal immigrant problem cannot balance their budgets. Difficult to do so as the leeching continues unabated and is impossible to predict year to year. States without illegal immigration problems CAN balance or come close to balancing a budget, and if Emperor Obo and his merry men had ANY desire to dampen the unemployment numbers they'd be jumping all over the FACT that 13-20 million illegals stealing work is a...take a deep breath Rio Linda...a BAD thing.
Two years, four months. Then we send Barry back to Chi-town and begin picking up the pieces.
