Minnesota Wrestling Coach Put on Leave for Reportedly Insulting Obama, Challenging Him to a Fight

An Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter has been placed on administrative leave from his job at a Minnesota high school after he insulted President Obama’s intelligence and challenged the commander in chief to a fight.

Jacob Volkmann told Fox News Radio that he is under investigation by White Bear Lake High School, where he has worked as a part-time assistant wrestling coach for three years.
“They didn’t like how I was representing the school,” he said. “They said I was representing them bad because of what I said about the president and his policies.”

Marisa Vette, the school district’s director of communications, confirmed to Fox News Radio that Volkmann is on paid leave. She refused to say if his comments about President Obama sparked the investigation.

“We have an employee who is on leave and the district is investigating in accordance with the law,” Vette said. She declined to elaborate on the investigation or any complaints that were made against Volkmann.
Volkmann’s comments came during a New Year’s Day interview after he had won a fight. A reporter asked who Volkmann would like to fight next and he replied, “Obama."

“He’s not too bright,” Volkmann told MMA Fighting. “Someone’s got to knock some sense into that idiot.”
The comment prompted a visit by the U.S. Secret Service after they received several calls accusing the fighter of threatening the president. However, Volkmann said the comments were tongue-in-cheek.

So lemme get this straight...

You can make a movie about killing George Bush...refer to him in all manner of abusive epithets...give speech after speech and essay upon essay concerning his incompetence...and that's A-Okay.

But with Barry...and trust me, this comes directly from the head moron himself...a private citizen must restrain from making his views known lest certain widdle feewings be hurt.

And yeah; Obama is cowardly enough to DEMAND any and all speechifying be investigated if it bears even a hint of anger. SOB ain't a hero and that's what we needed dammit.

Oh yeah and please remember that this is happening in Minny-Sota. Which translates from the Amerind Winnebago dialect to mean "place where faggots meet to hump wampum", so but of course they'd get all sorts of riled over someone speaking his mind.

Ill-Annoy Leads The Way

Elections do have consequences. Illinois voters are now being rewarded for electing Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn to a full term. Quinn replaced the disgraced Rod Blagojevich in 2009, then won a narrow victory to serve a full term in the 2010 election. Now he is about to sign into law a whopping 67 percent personal income tax increase, and a 46 percent business tax hike. The increases were passed at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday at the tail end of a lame-duck session with no votes to spare and not a single Republican in favor. The new legislature, sworn in 12 hours later, would have defeated the scheme.

Facing a $15 billion deficit, and lagging $6.8 billion behind in paying its bills, Illinois Democrats argued that raising taxes was the only responsible thing to do. Of course, the responsible thing would have been to spend less in the years before, and to cut spending now rather than boosting taxes. But even in their current crisis, Illinois Democrats prefer to make taxpayers clean up the politicians' mess. In July, for example, Quinn gave 40,000 of the state's unionized and heavily Democratic workers a two-year, 14 percent pay raise.

Here's the liberal Democrat plan in a nutshell. Tax those who do not work for the government. Government workers also pay taxes, sure they do, but make so much MORE than a similarly employed man it doesn't hurt as much. Their benefits are also Galaxy-Class, but far be it for me to get down on someone for making as much as he can. Only trouble with that is the fact that the only place TO work will be in the government, or a Union so closely affiliated with the government the lines are all but indistinguishable.

Anyone not working for the government is either independently wealthy, like theatrical and circus performers and Hollywood writers, etc. It is necessary to keep them gainfully wealthy in order to have someone to pay even higher taxes.

That leaves the 50-60 percent of Americans who will happily slide into welfare like an old man into a warm bath after shoveling snow all the livelong day.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

No more work, no more nut, no more hassle. "Retire" to Florida or Arizona upon reaching 60, and be mercifully put to sleep by a death panel 5 or 6 years later.

Politicians and government workers and those oh so funny and entertaining circus clowns can of course do far better, so why DIDN'T you take that cushy government gig to begin with? Slacker. Or learn to sing. Michelle Obama likes to listen to singers. And dancers and jugglers and yes, clowns. EVERY future first lady will be the same way, establishing a precedent does that ya know, so don't believe that things will change simply because for one moment in time America awakened and voted the Obamas back to Ill-Annoy where they belong.

Mrs. Romney will take to emulating royalty in a snap.

He's Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack

Tap. Tap, tap. Tap-tap-tap.

Yes.

"Hello and welcome to Cutlery Corner. My name's Todd Boone and we've got a giveaway knife for you. We'll be givin' away free a green bone steel warrior copperhead, unless we decide to give away the red bone instead or maybe if we run out of the red bone we'll switch on over to the green unless we've run out of the green..."

Yep. Doesn't make a lick of sense and that isn't because they're raving idiots...although they are...but it is the job of the Frost Family hosts to spin so tangled a skein as to be held absolutely unaccountable for anything you may have believed they actually said.

'And we're gonna receive, well you're gonna receive what I'm gonna be callin' a new item, the custom Bowie and the reason I'm callin' it new is because we haven't seen the likes of it in, well, seems like forever. Last time we featured this product it sold out so you need to grab these because they'll be gone and you'll have to be waitin' until they're back and new again..."

"Now here's the signature edition, a Jim Frost signature edition Bowie, with Signature Edition etched in the blade and Jim Frost's autee-graph written, or worded, or signed next to the wording. Not etched in the blade but written in by hand in silver ink like it maybe could have been etched in but wasn't..."

Now, picture this; a big ass Bowie knife with SIGNATURE EDITION etched in bold on the blade. Just above and slightly to the left of it, written in silver magic marker, is Jim Frost's signature. With a big old thumbprint smudging the "J" in Jim, and ruining any chance they had in fooling even the most easily-fooled fools into thinking that the knife was really made with old Jim's autograph etched in...and not built in China and dropped off on Big Jim's desk for him to carefully magic-marker the thing for posterity.

Oh and Todd came clean. Reason he was off for a time was: "I quit drinkin. So, ha, so I'm gonna be sick 'till I'm not because I quit drinkin'."

Priceless. Staggering around with the DT's. Because he quit drinkin'. TV sales dropped faster than a Pakistani parachute so old Jim had no choice but to drag Todd out of detox and continue on with the show. Jittery hands or not...SELL THEM THERE KNAAAHVS, BOY! And try to to bleed all over the new plywood and kindling set.

The NY Times Thinks: Only Moslems Should Be Allowed To Kill The Innocent...

After the horrific shooting spree, the editorial board of New York Times offered a voice of reasoned circumspection: "In the aftermath of this unforgivable attack, it will be important to avoid drawing prejudicial conclusions . . .," the paper counseled.

Here's how the sentence continued: ". . . from the fact that Major Hasan is an American Muslim whose parents came from the Middle East."

The Tucson Safeway massacre prompted exactly the opposite reaction. What was once known as the paper of record egged on its readers to draw invidious conclusions that are not only prejudicial but contrary to fact. In doing so, the Times has crossed a moral line."

Crossed, re-crossed, and double-crossed. But that's okay; really it is. There ARE times when we forget who the real enemy happens to be. When, during a lull in the fighting, we forget how truly insidious liberals are. How they'll climb, tooth and nail, atop a heap of still twitching bodies to make an incorrect assumption that just might persuade Ma & Pa Kettle over to their side.

I'm glad James Taranto reads the Times so I don't have to. I despise him for providing them even one reader, hardcopied or virtual, but just like outhouse cleaners, somebody's gotta do it.

All The Leaves Are Brown...And The Sky Is Falling...

Attention Delaware drivers. Effective with model year 2014, all new vehicles sold in Delaware shall comply with California emissions standards. Delaware standards are no longer sufficient. New “green” standards make First State emission rules more stringent than even Federal regulations.
Thus spoke Delaware Secretary of Natural Resource and Environmental Control Colin O’Mara, in issuing his December 11, 2010 Order No. 2010-A-0039, amending Title 7 of the Delaware Administrative Code.
The new program will bring “considerable benefits to human health and the environment,” asserts a news release issued by Secretary O’Mara, a self proclaimed “energy entrepreneur” from California. However, since current model year cars already emit 95 percent fewer emissions than their 1970 predecessors, actual health and environmental improvements are likely to be minimal.

Thus an additional justification for the edict is the claim that it will protect planet Earth against “dangerous global warming.” That is equally dubious.

What is certain is that Secretary O’Mara has unilaterally raised the average cost of post-2013 vehicles sold in Delaware by at least $1,000, simply to comply with the department’s questionable findings. That’s according to an April 1, 2010 New York Times article. Industry experts say the regulations will add “about $3,000 to the up-front cost of the average car or truck,” notes PBS.

And to think all of this transpired without a whimper from Delaware’s elected officials, or mention in the papers. O’Mara claims the necessary notification and hearings took place. However, few Delawareans know nightmarish California air quality standards have been imposed on them, and fewer still understand the edict’s costs.

Delaware has long since surrendered to old hippy douchebags and commies so I couldn't care less WHAT those choosing, choosing mind you, to live in so shit stained a state have to pay for anything.

Can't beat 'em, then LEAVE 'EM, is the real way in which to force such liberal bastions of modern slavery to collapse under their own stupidity.  Nothing on God's green earth is going to change the mind of those running California, New York, D.C., New Jersey, Ill-Annoy, and an easy half-dozen other lost causes, into running their business as if money did not grow on trees.

Nothing. The same states that will soon have to decide between feeding children and the elderly or continuing to provide free college for illegal immigrants, don't deserve to be saved. Their own actions have all but divorced them from the Union anyway, so why not get going while the going is still at least halfway good. You can go back in another 25 years or so, after the bottom that fell out must be redesigned to suit a sane population. Staying makes one an enabler so go back to being an American and live somewhere free.

Too Hot By Half

Since I all but refuse to turn on the A/C in mid-January, Fort Fits is in full frontal doors and windows akimbo mode and will most likely remain that way for the remainder of the week. Ya see, in Floriduh, it's the sunshine. Kinda where it got its nickname. Doesn't matter really all that much what the idiot weatherman says the temp is, if you're soaking up Sol's rays you're gonna be hot. With just a window open and no heat nor A/C going, we returned home after trifling the morning away and the place was a blast furnace upon re-entry.

It is a latitude and longitudinal deal. Since idiot weathermen report temps taken from shaded thermo-meters, visitors to Ponce de Leons's Playhouse pay them far too much attention and dress according to areas skillfully hidden from that little yellow star in Milky Way ville, rather than what is truly going down. My very own thermo-meter, the one facing the sky above not the mud below, reports an 80 Fahrenheit-ical degree of measurement and why I'm telling you all this is beyond me. Probably from hearing that Florida was the single state amongst the contiguous that has been spared a blizzard, and one of the reasons we moved here to begin with.

REAL ID Implementation: Less Expensive, Doable, and Helpful in Reducing Fraud

REAL ID driver’s license provisions derive from two sources. First, the 9/11 Commission recommended in 2004 that Congress set minimum standards for more secure issuance of driver’s licenses and birth records. The Commission made this recommendation based on the finding that terrorists’ easy access to state-issued IDs helped them embed in the United States, with 18 of the 19 hijackers having acquired a total of 30 state-issued IDs among them, documents that enabled them to board aircraft without additional scrutiny at check-in counters.

Nearly all of our most populous states at first balked at the idea of at long last fixing a dismal track record with regards to the issuance of drivers licenses to illegal aliens and identity thieves.

California is still opposed to the REAL ID act, finding all the money it needs to create bike lanes and send illegal immigrants to college but crying poor mouth when it comes to assuring that a drivers license is issued to a person legally entitled to one. This after having SPENT the federal funding dollars allocated to REAL ID upon who-knows-what. New York, almost as broke as any other illegal haven, had the lesson of 9/11 to provide the necessary stimulus and is closing in on compliance. Florida had years ago tired of the mess illegal Cubans were making of the highways and byways and was one of the first states TO comply, while Texas continues to report that the Feds haven't coughed up enough cash, and no funding means no REAL ID.

On one hand, Texas needs to be applauded for not bowing in obeisance to every dumbass federal program that comes down the pike, but does need to get its house in order when it comes to REAL ID.

George Will: The charlatans' response to the Tucson tragedy

It would be merciful if, when tragedies such as Tucson's occur, there were a moratorium on sociology. But respites from half-baked explanations, often serving political opportunism, are impossible because of a timeless human craving and a characteristic of many modern minds.

The craving is for banishing randomness and the inexplicable from human experience. Time was, the gods were useful. What is thunder? The gods are angry. Polytheism was explanatory. People postulated causations.
And still do. Hence: The Tucson shooter was (pick your verb) provoked, triggered, unhinged by today's (pick your noun) rhetoric, vitriol, extremism, "climate of hate."

Demystification of the world opened the way for real science, including the social sciences. And for a modern characteristic. And for charlatans.

A characteristic of many contemporary minds is susceptibility to the superstition that all behavior can be traced to some diagnosable frame of mind that is a product of promptings from the social environment. From which flows a political doctrine: Given clever social engineering, society and people can be perfected. This supposedly is the path to progress. It actually is the crux of progressivism. And it is why there is a reflex to blame conservatives first

At times all the time, George uses an awful lot of words to describe stupidity, but since he began his writing career being paid by the word such goings on are understandable.
Having no core beliefs to sort out tragedy's such as the Arizona shootings, liberals blame every bad thing upon the people they simply don't agree with rather than focus on what truly happened. Once upon a time this was called 'shallow'. But seeing it is as deep as leftwingers can get, we've a duty to call a spade a spade and report to you that it is simply a case of assholes being assholes.

Words Of Wisdom From Obama Guided The Leftwing Pothead Arizona Shooter

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

And that's exactly what the leftwing pothead in Arizona did. Golly gee, but ya think Barry will apologize?

Or should we give him a nickname. All connected wiseguys gotta have a nickname.

Birther B will do just nicely.

And hey, can you even imagine what they'd be saying today about a REPUBLICAN who dispensed such advice? Not that it isn't good advice, mind you, but the ever so sensitive tree humpers would be apoplectic in their denunciations.

But, if you don't believe me, then take it from Mr. restrained goodness and sunshine himself:

MSNBC's Keith Olbermann said in an editorial late Saturday that politicians and talk show personalities - himself included - needed to swear off any kind of violent imagery so as not to incite anybody into acts like the Giffords shooting. Those who don't, he said, should be judged silently complicit of the act.

Am now patiently awaiting Keithy boy's condemnation of Birther B.

Mr. Boone Has The Sniffles...

"...yes, Sheila, it sure is, this here's the signature edition of...huh? Can't hear me? Might help if'n I turn it on..."

Tom O'Dell filling in for Todd Boone who called in sick. Mr. O'Dell, for the 63rd show in a row, forgot to turn on his microphone and began the presentation virtually inaudible. Not that it made all that much of a difference, as he and Sheila Travis stepped all over each others words and of course the usual coughing, shuffling, and talking in the background was present and accounted for.

Simply isn't the same without Todd doing the first couple hours and setting the tone for grifting personified. Sad. Just sad.

UPDATE

History was made on the Sunday night/Monday morning Cutlery Corner presentation. Todd Boone, fragile child that he is, was once again out sick, forcing Jim Frost to lead and end with the poster children for incompetency, aka O'Dell and Travis.

BUT...for the first time in memory, and ending a string of at least 63 straight presentations, Tom O'Dell faced the camera with his MICROPHONE ON.

Since hearing Mr. O'Dell is never conducive to sales of any note, it certainly won't mean an increase in how much dirty old Asian pot metal goes out the door, and I'm sad to admit that my attempts at bribing the Cutlery Corner producer has been for naught. Sheila Travis's mike was on, even though I offered a pretty penny for someone, anyone, who could stifle Miss Giggles if even only for one night.

O'Dell, senile old drunk that he is, is at least a fixture, the dean of grifters if you will. Sheila Travis is his daughter in law, hired to keep the old guy from wandering off into the night but by now you'd think she'd have learned a wee bit of what her employer pays her to do...besides change O'Dells Depends, that is. Even staunch Cutlery Corner devotees such as myself gag at the mere sight of potato-nosed Travis, but will admit to a certain fascination attached to someone who is the epitome of all that is maladroit.

Unqualified, untrained, unfit and unappetizing, Mrs. Travis...this evening dressed in her Sunday-go-to-Flea market best replete with dangling ear rings... is, I suppose, the female version of Todd Boone, so those watching the Frosted Flakes years from now will probably look fondly back at a time when She-Jerk was in her grifting infancy. By then perhaps, she'll have learned how to dress herself, apply makeup, comport as a female of the species and maybe even string together two or three words with nary a hint at the floundering gigglefest designed to fill in the gaps between her not knowing a damned thing, and letting it show.

Yeah. I miss Todd.

Rep. Giffords in Intensive Care After Being Shot in the Head

Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is in an intensive care unit following surgery for a gunshot wound in the head at close range, the University of Arizona Medical Center announced Saturday afternoon.

Dr. Peter Rhee, a surgeon and chief of the trauma, critical care and emergency surgery, said he is "very optimistic" about the congresswoman's recovery.
However, Federal District Judge John M. Roll was shot and killed during the town-hall style event outside a Safeway grocery store in Tucson.

According to the law enforcement official, the suspect began shouting something before shooting wildly with an automatic weapon. Shots then rang out from the crowd --  a security agent or someone else fired at the suspect who survived.

One must presume these dolts are talking about a semi-automatic weapon, because getting the facts straight isn't something the modern Yellowstream Media members do with any degree of regularity.

He, and perhaps an accomplice, most likely employed semi-automatic handguns, and what is unusual, so far, is their degree of accuracy. Since of course they were "shooting wildly". Glad they caught him and I hope he fries.

Oh yeah and by the way; prepare for the liberal media's assault as they lie about his political affiliations. This kid is a lefty loon if  ever there WAS a lefty loon.

Just be ready to repel boarders.

I remember when George Bush walked brazenly into the great outdoors with button-wronghole'ier

Had to be early on in his first term, and the liberal media/nutcases went hog wild. Payback is a mudder-forker.

And thank you to Third World County for the pic.

South Dakota ACLU Sues To Broaden Right-To-Carry Law

The ACLU of South Dakota has filed a suit on behalf of a British national and permanent legal immigrant who was denied a Right-to-Carry permit in South Dakota.  According to a January 6 FoxNews.com story, the 30-year legal resident and previous Right-to-Carry permit holder was denied due to a 2002 change in South Dakota's Right-to-Carry law that requires an applicant to be an American citizen. Citing the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause, the ACLU of South Dakota has leveled the suit against the South Dakota Secretary of State and the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office and has also filed for an injunction to stop the enforcement of the citizenship requirement.

This is notable for several reasons, chief of which is the ACL-frickin-U suing in favor of something that defends the Constitution.

And isn't it amazing that those staunch South Dakota liberals, defenders of ILLEGAL immigrants the country-over, would be against allowing a LEGAL immigrant to exercise the right to protect himself?

Permanent legal immigrants have long enjoyed the same protection under the law as native-born residents, except when it comes to anything liberals are not in favor of. Which then of course leads me to once again denounce these scumbags as the scumbags they are for thinking that THEY have the right to treat freedom as THEY see fit. Sort of why that there slavery issue came about in the first place, and why liberals continue to espouse doling out rights depending upon liked mindedness rather than one for all and all for one.

Like or despise the NRA, the headline link takes you there so be forewarned.

Mr. Boone Is Back From Deer Huntin' So Katie Bar That There Door Cuz It's Tahm Fer Cutlery Corner...

(Cue background sniffling and coughing and talking...)

"..And ya'll know what this (sniff, cough) knife looks like, dontcha? I know lots of ya'll out there are reckanizin' this knife.."

Todd Boone describing one of the products available from the "Inventory Special", CCN-21450. One hundred and forty-nine pot-steel knives available for $160...and that's ah um hardly a buck and change apiece, the "reckaniziable" knife was reminiscent of a Buck Mayo folder, but then again, virtually ALL Frost Cutlery products are knockoffs of real blades so why pick out this one in particular?

That's easy. Old Man Jim just got hisseff some brandy new Chinaman knaahvs in from Chinamanland and is tickled pink that Mr. Chin went and copied that there Buck to a T.

And was the background sniffling and coughing and talking more noticeable than usual? A bit, yes it was. Bad-Hair-Day Todd admitted that perhaps he got hisseff a touch of the in-flew-enza, just like most of the crew done caught. There's so much sniffling and coughing and talking that you know every last cast member of Cutlery Corner is a chain smoker, and while that's their business it is a tad disconcerting to constantly listen to it.

"And keep in mind that there's only a hundred of 'em and that don't take inta considerations if anybody buys two. Somebody or, ah um ah someone buys multiples than there'll be less than a hundred of them. How many less I don't know because I can't tell ya'll how many anybody will be buyin'. In other words don't go thinkin' that you are only goin' up against a hundred or ninety-nahn other folks."

"So yer gittin 10 knives fer only $29.95 an who wouldn't be buyin' bran-name knives fer $2.99 point-5 cents apiece?" (Brand name? Oh yeah; any product that Toddy can pronounce is brand-name.

"And this here's the Whitetail Extream...um ah um I guess this is cutlery corners way a' spellin' extreme."

Now THAT'S Super...

Real-Life Superhero Walks Streets, Fighting Crime

A local man said he came within seconds of having his car broken into, and perhaps stolen, until a real-life “superhero" came to his aid...

The encounter started in Lynnwood Sunday evening when a man, who asked to be identified only as Dan, was walking back to his car in a parking lot when he saw a man with a metal strip trying to pry open his car.“He started sticking it down between the window and the rubber strip,” said Dan.Dan began to call 911, but said help arrived before he even finished dialing.“From the right, this guy comes dashing in, wearing this skin-tight rubber, black and gold suit, and starts chasing him away,” said Dan.What Dan didn’t know is that just about every night, an anonymous Seattle man strolls into a comic store, enters a hidden back room and emerges transformed.

His Gift...

Fits' Hit List: Tourbillon Heaven...

eBay-able from around $12 to $40...shipped... depending upon vendor.

Open-heart and Tourbillon watches...looking as good as most of the junk one finds on ShopNBC, can be had for a song, and NOT an arm and a leg as the ones from Stuhrling Un Original and other grifters  looking to snag upwards of a grand of your hard earned bucks.

ANYONE with a Singapore or Hong Kong connection  can have Tourbillon watches made for peanuts, so be careful of those trying to rip you off.

If on the other hand you don't give a chit and just like the thing, then have at it. No one is trying to put anyone out of business or deny anyone their grail. Just evening up the playing field is all. None of these infomercial hawkers will EVER come totally clean so its up to you and I to scrub the bastards down.

Not Stealth...Just A Yellowstream Media Credibility Challenge

BEIJING—The first clear pictures of what appears to be a Chinese stealth fighter prototype have been published online, highlighting China's military buildup just days before U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates heads to Beijing to try to repair defense ties.

U.S. officials played down Chinese advances on the plane, which American intelligence agencies believe will likely be operational around 2018. "We are aware that the Chinese have recently been conducting taxi tests and there are photos of it," said Pentagon spokesman Col. David Lapan. "We know they are working on a fifth-generation fighter but progress appears to be uneven."
Col. Lapan said it appears the Chinese are still seeking engines for a fourth-generation fighter from Russia, an indication that they are "still encountering problems" with development work toward the fifth-generation aircraft, the J-20.

Yawn. By the time the Chinese have anything more than a mock-up that gives good taxi, we'll be into our next generation of stealth aircraft. We know this, the Chinese know this, and were they to have anything that wouldn't make them look stupid they'd be showing it off rather than playing runway-tag.

Must Be Seen To Be Believed...

And...what I saw happen on something of a regular basis in airports around the 3rd world. Not so destructive an ending necessarily, but absolute full frontal dumbfoundedness on what an automatic door is. For one reason or another they'd leave the village then would hang around to follow someone else before daring ...THE INVISIBLE DOOR!

Thanks to Third World County for the link.

Knife Of The Week: ESEE DPx H•E•S•T /F

This knife is what the fanbois have been begging for..

"This item is only available for customers who has place a pre-order"

Available from Knifeworks as a well, um, pre-order only. I think. Smallish blade, D2 steel, lots of bucks for...um...BUT...but hey now, you'll be the envy of every knifeknut on the block.

Knifeworks IS my favorite internet cutlery dealer, but here's the email I sent to the boss, Roger:
"This item is only available for customers who has place a pre-order"

Seriously?

Ya know, Rog, this is just my personal opinion so really it's not worth anything, but how's about this instead:

"This item be availabible for dem customahs whose has placed they-selves a pre-orderin."

Just a thought. A little blade of D2...gets dull and stays that way all the live-long day... going for such over the top change should have a popping intro. Most of the world believe knife and gun folks to be illiterate neanderthals so why not go for the full monty. Might wanna consider recommending that they change the name to: Dr. ESEE, or Rapper H.E.S.T.

Oh hell forgot what I was sending the email for to begin with.

Happy New Year to everyone at Knifeworks.

Palestinians Caught in Another Libel... Abetted By The Times And Other Dirty Entities

On January 2, 2011, a number of mainstream media outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, CNN, Reuters, AFP and The Independent, reported on the death of a Palestinian woman, Jawaher Abu Rahma, 36, allegedly killed by inhaling tear gas during a protest against Israel's security barrier near the West Bank village of Bil'in.

Questions were raised at the time, not least as to how it was possible that non-lethal tear gas of the same kind used for riot control around the world could have adversely affected one person in this manner. Predictably, this didn't stop the Palestinian propaganda machine from making accusations that Israel had employed some form of nefarious weapon.

In this case, the IDF was accused of mixing phosphorus with the tear gas despite the obvious fact that had this been the case, then everyone at the violent demonstration would have been affected and not just one individual.
Those questions have become even more acute following an IDF investigation into the incident. As YNet explains:

According to IDF officials, Abu-Rahma may have not even participated in the protest in question.
Sources familiar with the material said that unlike similar incidents in the past, the report about Abu-Rahma's injuries arrived late and contained puzzling details.

According to the medical report, there was no clear cause of death, the burial was undertaken via an accelerated procedure, and no post-mortem was performed.

The information also reveals that Abu-Rahma was administered an unusual quantity of drugs, used to offer treatment against poisoning, drug overdose, or leukemia. Moreover, her family's report that she was "hurt by Israeli gas" was not corroborated by any other source.

The IDF also discovered that the deceased was recently treated at a Palestinian hospital, a fact that was not mentioned in the medical reports.

Were the Palestinians lying? This would not be the first time that Palestinian deaths blamed on the IDF have turned out to be, at best, mistaken, or worse, outright libels.

Indeed as recently as April 2010, an allegation that the IDF had killed a Palestinian boy turned out to be false when the boy was found alive and well. We questioned the veracity of Palestinian medical sources as well as the media's reliance on Palestinian "eyewitnesses" or spokespeople who have been found to be, at best, inaccurate and in some cases outright liars.

Is this another example of what David Harris of the AJC calls "confirmation bias" - the habit of favoring information that confirms what you believe, whether it's true or not, and ignoring the rest?"

Sadly enough, one of the biggest enemies the Israeli Jew has to contend with is the American Jew, so its no wonder the likes of the NY Times and Washington Post...and let's not even mention CNN for fear the poison will somehow spread like an evil incantation of witchcraft from days of yore...are dead-set against honest reporting.

Repeat after me; there IS no Palestine. Palestine is a geographical location. There is no Palestinian bloodline, no Palestinian money...or perhaps the Times and/or Post has been hoarding Palestinian Paleoliths or whatever it is they would call so invisible a monetary system....so there can no Palestinian Nation except in the imagi-nation of those who'd like to see the death of Israel.

Countries and Nations don't spring into existence without the barest of modern trappings...even tiny Togo has the Franc...no matter what Jew-haters may imagine in their fondest wet dreams. Relocating criminal Arabs then anointing them as a nation is something only the liberal mind would find believable.

EPA's Texas Power Grab

So now the alarmists from the Climate Doomsday Gang have a new scare. Global warming from rising CO2 is going to cause more vector-borne diseases like malaria, dengue fever and West Nile Virus. Are you a-trembling in your bull-doodoo -covered boots now?

If Texas didn’t have decent history books in its classrooms, people might actually buy this scary story. But as those books show, malaria was eradicated in Texas and the USA during the 1950s, thanks to DDT, window screens and medical advances – not because the state’s climate got too hot or cold, wet or dry for anopheles mosquitoes.

Moreover, from 1980 to 1999 there were 62,514 cases of dengue fever (from mosquito bites) in northeastern Mexico. Meanwhile, just across the border, only 64 cases of dengue were counted in Texas. The disparate disease rates are clearly not due to the climate, but to differences in housing, medical care, wealth and technology.

The alarmists need to get their computer models, scenarios, scare stories and climate cops out of Texas. If they don’t, Governor Perry and his Texas Rangers should arrest them for violating Lone Star rights to energy, jobs, health and the American Dream.

EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson says her agency’s actions will “protect human health and welfare” and “ensure environmental justice,” which are “threatened” by rising temperatures and “global climate disruption.” Let EPA regulate these evil greenhouse gases, she promises, and the climate will remain “stable” and average global temperatures will never be more than 2 degrees higher than now. Bunk.

Ms. Jackson willfully ignores the immense harm that driving up energy prices will have on jobs, state revenues, people’s health and welfare, and even human lives. But her views are supported by scientists like Dr. Richard Alley, Michael Mann’s colleague at Pennsylvania State University, all handsomely paid by EPA and other federal agencies for raising alarms about global warming."

There's more to read so click here please. But let me interject my own feelings on this and have no fear, I'll be brief.

The new Congress should A) Abolish the EPA, and B) Draw then hang the nonsensical idiots who propose such bullswaddle under the guise of ANY government agency. Thankfully, a federal court has put a hold on Obama's plans to wreck Texas, but it won't last forever so in the meantime let's get to making all that new rope we'll be needing.

To Catch A Thief...

For months now Frost Cutlery has been advertising a Boy Scout Anniversary Commemorative knife (February 8th of 2010 was the 100th year of American Boy Scouting), claiming not only an affiliation with the Boy Scouts but that proceeds from the sale of these knives go to the BSA.  The thing is an absolute piece of junk, and I for one just do not believe that the Boy Scouts would have anything to do with this product, or Frost Cutlery itself for that matter...I mean, c'mon now...Boy Scouts of AMERICA using a company specializing in junk steel from Pakistan? So...

I've sent an email to BSA headquarters asking the following: "Is Frost Cutlery now or has it ever been affiliated with the BSA? Frost Cutlery is claiming that proceeds from the sale of knives decorated with emblems, names, and logos associated with the BSA go to support the BSA, and I'd like to know if this is true."

That's all. If Jim and Todd and Tom and Sheila are on the up and up then I'll be the first one to apologize to them while giving thanks for their contributions to so worthy an institution. If not, then I'm contacting the FCC as well as anyone else who'll listen to me that Frost Cutlery is using the BSA to sell product and has no right to do so.

Can you even imagine someone using the Boy Scouts so unscrupulously?

Sure can. We'll see. And not for nothing but on TV the knife looks nothing like this picture.

Oh and yes indeed; should you for some ungodly reason find yourself at Cutlery Corner online, the product number is CCN-21117. And for only $49.95 you too can have one of the dumbest looking pieces of cutlery ever made. Freight is extra and for this item probably around $20. Complete with Cork Screw should your Boy Scout find himself with a wine bottle that needs opening, and let's not forget the beer bottle opener, too.  Pretty much a $10 special from the land of the Chin, so don't dare miss the chance to own a nefarious insult to all things tasteful.

UPDATE

Already received a reply, in a form letter but still a reply, from the BSA:

Thank you for participating in Scouting. Due to the heavy volume of emails, it
may take us more than 24 hours to respond to your email. We will respond to all
emails in the order in which they are received. Thank you for your patience.

Rep. Issa: President Obama "one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times."

(CNN) – The incoming House Oversight and Government Reform chairman on Sunday tried to clarify his recent remarks to Rush Limbaugh where he called President Obama "one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times."

Rep. Darrell Issa said he meant to say the Obama administration instead of the president.

"When you hand out $1 trillion in TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) just before this president came in, most of it unspent, $1 trillion nearly in stimulus, that this president asked for, plus this huge expansion in health care and government, it has a corrupting effect," Issa said on CNN's "State of the Union."
Although TARP – the program passed in 2008 intended to strengthen the financial sector by purchasing assets from financial institutions – was passed by Congress under the Bush administration, Issa said the unregulated funds were used by Obama like "presidential earmarks."

But the California Republican also admitted Congress shares some of the blame.
"All of that would not have been possible if Congress had done its job," Issa told CNN Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry. "Instead what happened was we gave President Bush (the money and) President Obama inherited $800 billion worth of walking-around money with no guidelines."

Ah but like them French say, Mr. Issa, au contraire.

Barry had PLENTY of guidelines. Chief of which was to take our money and give it away to whomever asked for it as long as they were leftwing commie subversive bastards just like him.

Now you go and do your job, which is to dig deep and discover where the cash really went, and then we can impeach the thieving son of a bitch.

Oh and before I forget; Obama is NOT one of the most corrupt presidents (small "p") in modern times.

He is THE MOST corrupt president, ever.

So What Does PETA Love More Than Even Animals?

...Kowtowing To A Half-Black President For Sticking Up For An All-Black 100%-Criminal

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said Obama's call...praising the Eagle's owner for hiring Michael Vick... was appropriate, noting that Vick himself has given speeches around the country apologizing for his crimes.

"Obama's a sports guy, Vick's a sports guy, and comebacks and redemption can happen," said Ingrid E. Newkirk, the group's co-founder and president. "We all want a president who can lift us up and move us forwards when ugly things happen, but that cannot let us forget and remain watchful to avoid future abuses."

PETA isn't about animals rights, PETA is about pushing a liberal agenda. Case closed. Remember; Michael Vick was NOT convicted of doing harm to a dog or dogs, Michael Vick was sent to prison merely for bankrolling a dog-fight operation. Adding animal cruelty charges would have doubled or perhaps even tripled his time behind bars but Vick was far more valuable to the liberal elite as their slave gladiator than as just some other evil bastard doing hard time.

These people never cease to make me sick.

We Get Letters

"...When watching cutery corner it aklways seems to be that the knifes they are selling are 5 or mnore years old? Why would that be? And also do these older knifes go up iun value the longer they keep them or the buyer keeps them...?"

First off, NO Chinese knife is EVER going to appreciate. Low value to begin with translates to even lower value after they age. Doesn't matter if you hermetically seal them under Funk & Wagnell's porch for a  hundred years; crap remains crap. Frost claims to ship 7 million knives a year. Has done so, according to them, for at least the last 6 years. Excluding the other 35 years they've been in business, and sold lord knows how many millions, even if they were decent enough quality, 42 million knives are never going to be considered collectible. As an enduring testimony to stupidity, well maybe they'd be worth something then.

With regards to why Frost Cutlery televised knife presentations always seem to be featuring older knives that are no longer in production, take this with a grain of salt but also sprinkle it with a heaping helping of common sense:

Former Frost employees have told me that Frost distributors regularly bitch and moan about slow sales, and Frost takes back a portion of their inventory to shill on television. There will always be a market for cheap knives, but a distributor can have big bucks invested in slowly moving product and threaten to never order any again.

That's one of the reasons the shipping and handling charges on Cutlery Corner are so high. Generally speaking, you purchase the same product from ANY internet knife store and you'll pay $5 or more LESS than you would in ordering directly from Frost. Means a heckuva lot when some pumpkin head is looking to hook himself up with a $6 blade. Order from a distributor, and you'll be paying less but won't have Todd or Tom or Sheila (Mrs. PotatoHead) to bark for you.

The major thrust of Cutlery Corner is twofold; to catch the unawares into making a BIG mistake by ordering one of their special deals, only to learn that the $110 for those 100 knives is now $250 after adding in the freight. Returning it means ANOTHER $110 and by the time you've added up all the cost and headache the poor doofus decides to keep the crap and to hell with it.

And, like I've said, to rid themselves of slow moving inventory.

PS: Please remember that EVERYTHING you see and hear on Cutlery Corner is a lie. Back when they were pushing assisted-opening knives, they began spreading the rumor that such knives were soon to be outlawed. That caught them heat from many venues, as it was a boldfaced lie and contrary to what honorable knife makers are trying to do, namely educate the public to what their rights truly were.

Now its another big lie; "...mother of pearl and abalone are getting scarce so you better order now." Warehouses are overflowing with BOTH, and pricing has never been better, so in order to compete with honest knife-makers Frost lies.

Parting "Boone-ism"

"..most of these knives will never be re-manufactured again. What? What'd I say? Well they won't be. Oh. Most of these knives will never be MANUFACTURED again, not that we re-manufacture any of our knives we just manufacture them and sometime don't ever re-manufacture them ever again. Huh? What? What'd I..."

First Cutlery Corner Of 1-11-11!

Tap. Tap. Tap, tap, tap.

As the shitkicker music heralds the intro to Cutlery Corner, the tap-tap-tapping of Todd Boone's run sheet can be heard in the background.

Each, and every time. Tap tap tap. Of course he's aware, of course the cameraman is aware, of course, no, wait. Jim Frost isn't aware of anything but sales numbers. Professionalism is unheard of with regards to these people. Insulting, cheating, stealing from others. Making money off of the clueless. That's what's important.

Most if not all of the infomercial community is like that. They know their clientele well. They don't even have to use sex to sell. Nothing cutting edge, nothing new, nothing from nothing. That's how attuned they are to their customer base.

"Well we got Jodie back from his hi-eat-us." Jodie is Todd Boone's "producer". But really, just his whipping boy. When Todd forgets something...as he does every 10 to 15 minutes or thereabouts...he blames Jodie. If Jodie sees that Todd is struggling and interjects into Todd's earbud, WITHOUT Todd asking for help, Todd tosses a hissie shitfit. If Jodie does NOT, then Todd harangues and insults him.

Todd, you see, is a talentless pussy who was fortunate to hook up with Jim Frost who needed a talentless pussy in order to push his pot-steel products. A professional announcer/host couldn't possibly lie like Todd lies; most unprofessional grifters can't. What Frost found in Boone was a match made in hell. Frost would find the shit to sell and Todd would drool all over it.

"This is a swing guard lockback, handmade in Solingen, Germany, and its been years since I've seen one of these..."

"Years", as in just this past Wednesday. And here's one I used for a tissue slicing feature back in October. Marked "Frost Cutlery", "Solingen, Germany", and but of course, "Pakistan".  The Chinese and Pakistani's do buy a lot of junk steels from Germany, and this particular knife is made from the German version of 410 or 416 steel; used by REAL knifemakers for liners and pocket clips, but never, ever, blades.

The Swing Guard Lockback can be had brandy new from Cutlery Corner for only $10, and of course twice that much in freight charges.

"And for our Happy New Year sales we've got 134 pieces for only $140. Now there are so many knives here that I don't know the name of and I'm not gonna be takin' the time to go makin' some up..."

Meaning of course that they've received so many Cease and Desist orders of late that old Toddy can't be stealing from anyone else's trademarked name any more, and without cheating he's speechless.

"Now these here mother of pearl handles are going quick and we can't be makin' any before, um, 2012, or 2013, maybe even um, 2014. There's just no mother of pearl around and it takes 7 months just to make one order and um, so I don't know when Jim is makin' the order but it won't be for years or until we git 'em in."

Magnificent Mother of Pearl from Alpha Knife Supply. They can  get you top of the line materials and as much of it as you could ever want. Right here in the good old US of A. Including this along with the link so Jim and Todd and Tom and Sheila don't go losing their jobs for lack of raw materials.

Now of course this is REAL, high quality mop, far more so than anything Frost has ever even dreamed of using, and since everyone knows you get what you pay for that'd mean old Jim would have to raise his prices. Yeah, now you know I'm just joshing. Frost customers don't care about quality or why else would they be buying the absolute worst knives on planet earth?

Parting Shot

"And you better git on this deal cuz people are buyin' multiples. That means more than one per order. Means two at a time at least. Means that um if say we have 300 knives that doesn't mean 300 people are going to be able to buy these knives. At one apiece. Because multiple orders have to be looked at differently. Or multiple per order I think I mean to be sayin'. Sure, 300 people order one knife apiece that means 300 people can buy one knife at a time. But lets say 150 people buy 2 knives apiece and by apiece I mean at the same time, and then, and then, only 150 people can own these knives and not 300 because no matter how..."

And Everything Old Is New Again...

New Pittsburgh coach Mike Haywood was jailed Friday on a domestic violence charge after an incident at his South Bend home.

Assistant St. Joseph County Police Chief Bill Redman said Haywood was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday after a custody issue developed with a woman with whom Haywood has a child. The unidentified woman told police that Haywood grabbed her by the arm and neck and pushed her as she tried to leave.

Two things; one, does EVERY black guy HAVE to produce a child out of wedlock, and 2,  whats up with this propensity to beat the living shit out of women? You know, the elephant in the room that prevents a genuine examination of this distressing social disorder.

Well, the IT THAT CAN NOT BE MENTIONED better be high on the list of things to do for our society, or soon there won't be any black women left.

Happy New Year To 1-1-11, And...Whatever Happened To...

First off, here's hoping you and yours spend 2011 healthy, wealthy, and wise. Even those of you I frickin hate. My New Year's resolution is to be more tolerant of those who are dumber than me, so if you happen to be one of those people then expect less jokes at your expense.

And does anyone remember Moxie?

Its been near on 11 months since she blogged last, and in the spirit of the new year I was going to stop and by and say hiya but her joint has all the earmarks of a ghost town. Not that I was necessarily going to be nice to her as she's smarter than me, but it'd been a while that's all.
