FLORIDA: Florida: Palm Beach County Meeting on a Public Shooting Park! The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners in conjunction with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:30 PM at the Clayton Hutcheson Agriculture Center, 559 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, to discuss the possibility of opening an 80-acre public shooting park in Palm Beach County. Please spread the word to your friends, family, and fellow gun-owners to attend and make their voice heard.

This would be great news if there were not so very many anti-gun freaks straining at the leash to deep six such a plan. They howl about wanting more gun education but whenever someone decides to take a quantum leap for their hometown by opening a firing range the anti's then squeal as loudly as if someone had proposed a nuke plant. I'll email the begum out of the local officials and armtwist as many slumbering shootists as possible but this is going to be a hard one.
