Okay, it's time to pass along yet another stup.., cough, interesting thing from my band of brothers.

Marines are wishing to take ex-Marine, and former-Marine out of the lexicon, and replace it with Former Active Duty Marine if someone wants to get technical about it. I agree that there is no such animal as even a former Marine but in the name of all that's holy, the people who "get-it" understand the whole schmear and the people who "don't-get-it", well, why should we give a rats ass WHAT they think.

But not to start frickin world war 4, yes, I'm a FAD Marine and so avow that I will not refer to any of our kin as ex, or former.
