Have seen Lions up close. Have seen Lions fight Tigers, in a cage match that made dog-fighting seem quite mundane. The male Lion is designed for one thing, and that is to defend the Pride. He'll attack anything smaller than an elephant, and has only the great bears as a superior. But he'll charge one of them, too.
