This Just In From Frost Cutlery...

Item # CCN 19857

"Original Inhabitance"

Now, before you wrack your brain in an attempt to decipher the ravings of these Tennessean morons, what the illiterates were trying to say was "Inhabitants". Click the above link to laugh at it for yourself if you don't believe me.

I shot off an email to the idiots informing them of the boo-boo and await their sending out for A) A dictionary, and B) Someone capable of reading it. In other words, this error should be corrected sometime Monday afternoon once they've finally contacted someone in the state associated with Frost who has at least a 4th grade education.

On second thought, better make that Tuesday. Late Tuesday. That'll give 'em enough time to fly in a specialist who speaks both Tennessean as well as English.

UPDATE: 9:40 AM and the translator has yet to arrive.
UPDATE: 8:31 PM still awaiting the translator.
UPDATE: 11:35 PM nary a translator in sight.

Yet another update.

As we await Frost learning how to speak English, I thought it'd be good for you to know that you can order the Inhabitance knives directly from this page. Simply click in the number you wish to buy..remember now, you get four per order...in the Quantity box, so let's say "10" since these piece of shit Chinamen specials will only last an hour or so before degrading to slags of unrecognizable ore, then click "Add to cart", and you'll be taken to the area that asks for your particulars, and from there the most funnest of all places, the "Shipping" zone where you'll be able to offer your first born son for the honor of finding a beat-up old box on your lawn in only a couple weeks or thereabouts.

This is of course after forgetting how Frost ripped-off Spyderco and hypnotizing yourself into not giving a good damn about scruples or honor or any other sillyass thing like that. Then, just for the fun of it, you can also include a comment with your order that asks how much Frost is donating to the closest Original Inhabitance reservation in thanking them for the use of the likeness of a wise old chief on the blade handles.

Good luck with all that and may you then rot in hell.

Michelle Obama Talks Politics INSIDE A POLLING PLACE...And...

...Crickets...

"First lady Michelle Obama appears to have violated Illinois law -- when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!

The drama began after Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.

After finishing at the machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.

She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.

"She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband's agenda going," Campbell said.

According to a pool reporter from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES at the scene, the conversation took place INSIDE the voting center, not far from the booths."

Yes, she broke the law and White House press secretary Gibbs laughed it off when the subject was broached.

Lady Shelly can do...as Lady Shelly Wishes to do.

End of story.

The Sharpened Shallot

As done by my friend Jim, who could turn a rusted hunk of steel into a mirror worthy of Cleopatra. Or even that other drama queen Todd Boone. Who, I am absolutely, totally, 100% CERTAIN, has never seen, let alone owned, a blade this sharp. Particularly since it is CPM S-110V steel. Something Jim Frost himself has never heard of. But enough talking about little women.

Not as perfect as when he first honed it, of course, since this does happen to be a working blade. Am switching over to the system Jim uses, as throughout all of my sharpening endeavors, it yields the best results ever I have seen. Keeping it a secret until I learn how to work the thing. This way, if I suck at it I can try something else and you'll never know.

Texas Bank "Allows" Concealed Carry...

I despise bringing any attention to the Clinton News Network, but know thine enemy, etc.

The Bill of Rights guarantees the right, not a bank's creating a "rule" as the caption describes, and except for the kudos that should go to the bank this is a worthless piece of crap story that symbolizes CNN's unprofessionalism, despisement of freedom, and pretty much misses the overall point by a country mile. Yeah I hate them. No real reason to watch the actual video because its self-explanatory for anyone who can A) read English, as opposed to, say the average CNN viewership, and 2) understand the definition of freedom. Click here if you really wanna as I could find no way to embed the thing, but be aware that the link is from Gun Digest which can be problematic loading since it is chockablock with ads, etc.

Pennsylvania Aims To Be 26th State With Castle Doctrine...

The state House of Representatives voted last Tuesday for a bill to expand the legal use of deadly force in self-defense of individuals and their property.

The so-called “Castle Doctrine” - H.B. 40 - would expand current state law to allow individuals to use deadly force against an intruder, even if the intruder does not first threaten bodily harm to the individual. The bill passed with large bipartisan support, 158-39, and is headed to the state Senate for consideration.

“There is nothing more important than the basic right of law-abiding citizens to be able to defend themselves, their families and their property from the imminent threats of criminals who seek to cause devastating or fatal bodily harm,” said state Rep. Scott Perry, R-York, the sponsor of the bill.

Asked Wednesday if he would sign the bill, Gov. Ed Rendell said he would wait to see the final version before making a determination.

And there's the fly in the ointment. Rendell is hot to trot for a new assault weapons ban, and that pretty much is all you need to know about where he stands on certain civil rights. Still and all, there might be enough votes to override his veto so stay tuned.

Defending Against Killer Kids

"The first thing I thought is,  I would've shot 'em."
That's one of my good friends, talking to me the other day about the news that a pair of preteen gangsters last week walked up on a woman in the Detroit suburb of Harper Woods, flashed a handgun and carjacked her.
“It's sad, that's the worst part. It's just a little boy walked up to me in the neighborhood where I grew up in and tells me to give up my car to him. And I'm like, ‘Are you kidding?' and he opened up his shirt and showed me the gun,” Johnston said.
The boy said he was going to kill her if she didn't give her the keys, Johnston said.
My friend is not sharing his thoughts about this incident to be callous or tough. There's definitely more than a hint of sadness as he utters the words, slowly, almost as if in amazement at himself.
But he lives three blocks from the scene of the crime and knows it just as easily could've been him or his wife or his older daughter getting attacked. And like a lot of law-abiding men who grew up in the city's toughest neighborhoods, he packs not only a legally registered gun but an iron-clad determination to make it home to his family every day...
"I would've shot 'em...That's the first thing I thought when I saw that."
That's a dad at my son's football practice, a good man, a church pastor, a devoted father and husband, hard worker. And like my buddy who lives near Harper Woods, he too packs and is deadly serious about his willingness to protect himself.
Over the years, he says, he has had visions of any number of threats running through his head. Never once did those fears come wearing a child's face. He shakes his head as he hears himself speak. But his mind is made up.

"Yeah, I would've, too."

That's me, responding to both remarks. And while I can only guess at the sentiments of others, I know for certain how I feel as I say this: hurt, saddened, slightly ashamed. But ultimately, unable to honestly come up with any other answer.

Sweet moses on a pogo. An aggressive "child" is absolutely capable of killing you without blinking an eye, and to say that the mere thought of defending yourself against such an animal brings "shame" is a pretty damned good example of how certain cities and states grow their men.
Or don't.

This is not rocket science. If threatened, it is incumbent upon every man to defend home and hearth from attackers. Regardless of their age. If the kid can be controlled without resorting to deadly force, then have at it. If not, then shoot to kill.

Save the shame for Oprah.

Body Glove Is Anti-Gun

Body glove yellowstream water sports is officially on the anti-gun list.

After Russel Lesser's display of bigotry toward gun owners during his performance with his band, Thin Ice, this last weekend at the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair, I will not be purchasing anymore Body Glove products. I will also discourage my family, friends and customers from purchasing your products as well.

As usual, it takes little provocation for traitorous scum companies like Body Glove to show their true colors. Just place armed men anywhere unarmed cowards men are cavorting about, and await the rationalization for disarming anyone not wearing a shiny tin star. Having never heard of Body Glove prior to this, I presumed they were a condom manufacturer, but was in error.

Condoms serve a genuine purpose.

Barack Obama: Liar, Demagogue, And Dictator-Wannabe

There are among the population of the country Barack Obama has been chosen to lead those who have experienced firsthand the iron fist of a dictatorial government and who have survived the bloodshed that resulted. Tens of millions died during the past century under dictators. Deep within their psyche, these survivors are extraordinarily attuned to those factors that gave rise to the devastation when dictators have their way.

They know that the first step along this path is the emergence of a leader willing to do or say anything to promote a destructive and failed political philosophy and to achieve power by manipulating the emotions, fears, and prejudices of the people. But above all, they are mindful that only by exposing those who are determined to undermine their society, without hesitation or fear, can their nation be saved.

Therefore, on behalf of those of us who have live through the worst of times, and based upon the president's words and deeds, it must be stated that Mr. Obama is a liar and a demagogue.

This deception began during the presidential campaign. Falling sway to soothing rhetoric and a deliberately fraudulent campaign to promote moderate positions on the economy and government, many citizens in 2008 voted for Senator Obama. Further, they hoped that by electing a man of African descent, the long national nightmare of slavery and the long civil rights struggle would at last be relegated to the pages of history. Capitalizing on that hope, Mr. Obama campaigned on the theme that as a political moderate, he would bring all Americans together and end the divisive politics of the past, as well as control the scope and size of government."

There's lots more and you can read it here, but I must disagree as to why "many citizens voted for Barack Obama."

White liberals voted for such a man so as to CONTINUE, and even exacerbate the dialogue of racism, not to quell it. Barack was to be the "LOOK!...SEE!...Even though you HATED his kind WE love him and want to pay his entire race back for all the terror our great-great-grandfathers did to the negro!"

Anyone paying any sort of attention to the man and/or his writings would HAVE to have come to the conclusion that he himself was at least as racist and as kneejerk as any of the democrat race mongers of the past, so I don't buy the idea that ANYONE with half a brain thought Barack Obama capable of doing anything else than FANNING the flames.

Noodle Arm Crist Proves Once And For All That He Is In Fact A Girl

Okay then. After watching this, I took a stroll to the back 40 and scuffed together a makeshift mound. Measured off 60 feet, 6 inches. Found my old peach basket loaded with raggedy ass baseballs, and had at it.

Conclusion: It is virtually impossible for a grown man to throw a baseball WORSE than the traitor Charlie Crist.

Oil Production: Infinitely Sustainable?

This particular essay is dear to my heart because just two days ago I was listening to an "expert"speaking to the County Committee here in ugly ass Gainesville.

This particular loon was fretting over how the world was in fact running out of crude oil, something the far left does when all else fails to stimulate investment in wind farms, etc. I've long been aware of the renewable oil theorems, but here's a look at what's new:

Who would have thought the current controversy over manmade global warming could lead to significant rethinking of the entire climate change phenomenon and, as an unintended consequence, shatter another environmental group-think error involving sustainable oil production?  Stick with me here.  We need to review some history first.

Climate change alarmists, seeking to bolster their theory of the hypothetical properties of carbon dioxide to foster manmade global warming, devised the concept of radiant energy balance.  The problem is that all such concepts to date specify solar... (Read Full Article

Frost Cutlery Update

As I reported upon yesterday, Frost Cutlery was still up to their old shenanigans but DID managed to correct the gods-awful mistake they made with regards to the Buck 110 Southeast Asia MIA/POW Commemorative blade.

On Friday, on-air host Stuttering Todd Boone referred to the Buck as being a SouthWEST Asian Commemorative, and while lying about pretty much everything else, today he did correct himself. Sort of. Called it by its proper name and didn't mention the previous bollux at all, but when dealing with the con artists at Frost any victory is a welcome one.

Still selling Whitetail Stag-Handled skinners when China does not have any Whitetail deer, and since that's where the knife is made its hard to believe Frost imports antler just so the Chinamen can then use it as handle material to then send the finished product right on back to the States.

Still referring to the Solingen 14000 series knives as being made in Germany, when only the steel is made there, with the actual knife making being done in...you guessed it...China.

Still lying about being "Factory-Direct" when Frost in fact HAS no factory.

Still labeling their 440A steel as being Rockwell tested to 56-58, when 440A usually peaks at 52 or thereabouts. Chinese 440A to be precise. Kershaw can do wonders with 440A but Frost ain't no Kershaw.

Still calling the Kershaw assisted opening Speedsafe knives as being "Patent Pending, when they are fully Patented as well as Copy-written and Trademarked. Probably because Stuttering Todd calls the assisted opening Frost blades "Speedsafe-openers" and doesn't want anyone to believe they're inappropriately using someone else's full Patent.

Still selling the same old products they've said week in, week out, were out of stock or so low in quantity you better call now.

Still selling butterknife-quality blades while ranting on and on about how state-of-the-art they are.

Still giving Jim Frost credit for designing knives that had long since been designed by many others.

All of the above and lots more, but at least they haven't changed the location of Vietnam to SouthWEST Asia again.

Police Raid Wrong Home, Scare Elderly Couple Half To Death

Jakymek and her husband Andrij, 89, who suffers from Alzheimers, were in bed when a squad of officers from the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Gang Crimes Unit allegedly smashed their way into the elderly couple's Southwest side home. Sheriff's officers have not commented on the situation to confirm or deny reports.

“I hear bad noise, I thought somebody breaks in,” Jakymek said. "In that time about 20 guys came in and they said they were looking for guns and narcotics. They tell me to go into the bathroom ... They search everything."

At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday officers from the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Gang Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on the home on the 5600 block of South Kilbourn Avenue, the Chicago Tribune reports. They smashed in windows and broke down doors in their quest for crystal meth, cocaine, guns and money.

"I was scared," Anna said. "I thought it was gang."

The Jaykmeks are Ukrainian immigrants who have lived in the house since 1967, according to their son Andrew. Andrew said his father is a retired tailor and his mother worked as an elevator operator into her late '70s for Peoples Gas Co.

Andrew Jakymek says when he arrived, police admitted they’d raided the wrong house.
“When I arrived the officer explained they had misinformation, but said his job was over, and he was leaving. They left a copy of the warrant, but he absolved himself of any responsibility for the raid or the damage," he told the Tribune.

Only in Ill-Annoy, and particularly so with regards to Cook County.
Isn't it amazing that, after incurring thousands of dollars of damage to these poor old folks' home, the coppers get to call a mulligan?

Delaware alcohol division's head faces DUI charge

A retired state trooper who heads Delaware's Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement faces a drunken-driving charge and possible disciplinary action after being arrested in her state-owned car early Thursday north of Lewes.

Siobhan G. Sullivan, 46, who lives near Rehoboth Beach, also was cited with speeding when state troopers pulled her over at about 2:30 a.m. on Del. 1 near Minos Conaway Road, court records show.

Sullivan, who was Gov. Ruth Ann Minner's security chief before taking the new post in November 2008, is the sixth high-ranking state official -- including three criminal prosecutors -- charged with drunken driving in the last 26 months. On Sunday, state Rep. Brad Bennett was arrested in Lewes with a blood-alcohol level of 0.155, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.

Sulllivan's blood-alcohol level was not listed in court papers, and officials would not reveal whether she declined to take a breath test, or if she did consent, what her reading showed."

'Course they won't release her blood results. Here's an interesting take on that; Most states that issue Commercial Driver Licenses lower the maximum level of blood alcohol permitted by at least half of what the average Joe can blow before being cited for DUI.

In other words, for those tuning in from Rio Linda, if the permissible level is .08, commercial drivers are DUI over .04.

Not law enforcement types though. Even though they merrily speed through town with impunity, their max level is exactly what everyone else's is. And as in the case of Miz Sullivan, just try and find what the level was, but I betcha since she was speeding...and not just speeding or the cop never would have forced her over...then the level of blood in her alcohol probably was one helluva doozie.

At least Miz Sullivan had the grace to resign without causing a fuss though, but were her name to have been, oh, let's say Miz Athenayakeesha Jones they'd have to pry her out of office and face a bias-lawsuit in doing so.

Frost Cutlery Special...Southwest Asia MIA Commemorative Buck 110's...

Friday night's Cutlery Corner, which is broadcast in civilized parts of the country early Saturday morning around 3 AMish or thereabouts, depending on how badly your cable company needs the pennies they can get from Frost...

...One of the "Specials" was the Southwest Asia Buck 110 MIA Commemorative knife.

Now, we're not talking about a typo. Todd Boone, the stuttering liar who hosts the first half of the Cheap-Chinamen-Steel show referred to as Cutlery Corner, said time and again "SOUTHWEST Asia, because that's where all of the Asian countries are, in the Southwest...". Or how's about the fact that the replica of the Vietnam Service Ribbon that is glued onto the lefthand side of the handle he refers to as "..the Southwest Asian flag..."

Can you imagine someone living in America, over the age of 40 at that, not knowing that Vietnam is in SouthEAST Asia? Or that every Asian nation is found in the Southwest part of the Asian region?

That's what happens when you lie so much you pay little attention to the words coming from your own mouth.

I sent the crooks an email informing them of their insult, hoping that the Saturday evening show... that as sure as God made little green apples will feature the same product even though it is supposedly in "limited quantity"...will at least be referred to as Southeast Asian MIA Commemorative Buck 110.

Not that they could give a shit.

Why We Shoot The Messenger...

...Former NFL Player Arrested For?

Former San Francisco 49ers running back Glen Coffee has been arrested on a gun charge in the Florida Panhandle.

Fort Walton Beach police say he was arrested Thursday night and charged with possession of a concealed firearm. He was released from jail Friday morning.

According to the arrest report, an officer pulled over Coffee's 2008 Cadillac for excessive speed. Coffee reportedly failed to provide registration or proof of insurance and the vehicle was towed. A cocked pistol was found in the center console.

In Florida, it is perfectly legal to have a firearm in one's vehicle, as long as it is not in plain sight. This is because a soccer Mom might glance your way then drive into a sidewalk full of nuns upon seeing a G-G-G-G-GUN!

In other words, there was no crime committed. The cops towed the car because the idjit didn't have his registration, but the story clearly states that he was charged with "possession of a concealed firearm".

Which, we repeat for those of you tuning in from Rio Linda, in and of itself is NOT a crime in The Gunshine State.

Great reporting. NOT.

So Then, Congressman Reid, In Your Opinion Who Is The Greatest LIVING American(s)?

"...Ted Kennedy, and Robert Byrd..."

And Nevada will STILL send this dunce back to Congress.

Obama Administration Oil-Spill Coverup Confirmed...

The White House deliberately downplayed the seriousness of the Gulf oil spill and this contributed to slower and less efficient clean up efforts as well as unnecessary friction with state and local governments.
If the GOP takes the House, this will be a very interesting investigation.

Tell you what; it's going to be a full-time job just investigating what crimes the Caliphate has perpetrated upon the American public. Then there's the beginning of repealing Obamacare and as much of his administrations job killing actions as possible, so the new congress critters better pack a BIG go-bag.

Imagine that; politicians with something to do other than get elected.

When The Facts Don't Suit Your Agenda...

...There's Always Blatant Lying, As Caliph Barry Does So Very Well...Or Is It...

President Obama did more than just botch American history in his recent speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus; he advanced a racial separatist agenda which undermines our cultural solidarity and insults our sovereignty.

In a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the president recently came very close to endorsing a radical, race-based agenda. That agenda is best described as geographic reparations -- a misguided effort to correct past wrongs against the ostensible original Americans by committing present wrongs against real Americans today. In his ethnocentric speech, the president had this incredible factual error to share:

Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. To British and French, to Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land. [Emphasis added.]

That statement is a falsehood. America was definitely an idea by 1776, if not sooner. There could not have been a single "Mexican" here "before America was even an idea" because Mexico was not a country until 1821. There was no Mexican nation, therefore no "Mexicans" on our land "before America was even an idea."

So what accounts for Obama's eagerness to semantically superimpose Mexican people onto our early territory? There are convincing reasons to believe that Obama meant that today's Mexicans are descended from the rightful owners of part of this country. Allowing them to return via illegal immigration and lax enforcement is simple fairness -- geographic reparations.

The president here is demonstrating a commitment to the precepts of leftist open borders advocates, even La Raza ideology. According to a Tucson teacher who blew the whistle on La Raza ethnic studies courses, La Raza classes cause racial hostility. La Raza literally teaches children that "white teachers" do not want Hispanics to get ahead in life and "that the Southwestern United States was taken from Mexicans because of the insatiable greed of the Yankee, who acquired his values from the corrupted ethos of Western civilization." Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. warned against this "cult of ethnicity" in his classic, The Disuniting of America. La Raza ideology espouses racial resentment and condemns our national sovereignty. Such is the ideological core of geographic reparations.

If the president meant what he said about "Mexicans" being here "[l]ong before America was an idea," then the president shares with La Raza the belief "that the Southwestern United States was taken from Mexicans." This historical fairy tale is no doubt intended to reinforce the notion that someone else was here first and therefore they deserve a measure of compensation. Factually, there were other peoples here first, but the conclusion that we owe Mexicans a debt does not logically follow. Truly open-minded people would compare our tolerant treatment of illegal immigrants to the frequent bloody intolerance of some the North American natives. After all, our Declaration of Independence points to "the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions." King George III's support for those tribes was one of the charges listed against him in the Declaration. Warfare and ritual violence were, as scholars have noted, an integral part of pre-Columbian indigenous life.

We don't owe a blanket apology to the descendants of the "original" inhabitants in any region of the country. Instead, perhaps the descendants of the more -- to use Thomas Jefferson's word -- "merciless" tribes owe us an apology for butchering our early settlers. At the very least, we don't need to pretend that "Mexicans" were here before America was founded.

The problem with that theory is that the people who were here first were not Mexican. There were warring tribes with no Mexican national identity whatsoever, who had themselves been fighting and displacing each other. The brutal territorial conquests of the Iroquois and Osage long predated Columbus. For the president to say that "Mexicans" were here "[l]ong before America was an idea" is a historical fable. He is trying to delegitimize our claims to sovereignty and to make us ashamed of our territorial boundary. From these absurd premises the left builds an entire house of cards, including an open-borders immigration policy..."

There are times like this, when I am unsure if a modern, well-educated man of average intelligence as Barry, COULD be so very wrong about pretty much anything he talks about.

You see, he leaves himself open to such ridicule that its a tough call to label  him as nothing but a stone cold liar or a complete buffoon, because who in their right mind would wish to be thought of as such? But to tell the truth I'd rather a buffoon because poking fun at the retarded among us isn't all that cool and I'd stop in a NY minute were I assured that Soetoro was nothing more than an incomparable idiot of magnificent proportions.

Seriously. Stupid people have the same rights as you or I, and the Kenyan Kandidate might not be help to himself if it is impossible for him to string together three intelligible words without a teleprompter.

If he's nothing more than a commie rat that's one thing. But he stutters, looses concentration easily, is without a frame of reference for even the most commonplace of people, places, and events, and doesn't seem to mind being photographed taking embarrassingly retarded golf swings or riding a woman's bicycle.

We know he's truly egotistical so its not like he wouldn't wish to be portrayed in only the most favorable of lights, so I'm beginning to think he's just, well, dumb.

World Class Dumb, at that. This is one of the reasons I hate affirmative action.

Obama Plans On Being President For...8-10 Years?

Now far be it for me to doubt that the Caliphate was designed to last at least 10 years, but his admitting it is a horse of a different color.

Revenge Of The Tsar

After the record heat wave this summer, Russia's weather seems to have acquired a taste for the extreme

Forecasters say this winter could be the coldest Europe has seen in the last 1,000 years.
The change is reportedly connected with the speed of the Gulf Stream, which has shrunk in half in just the last couple of years. Polish scientists say that it means the stream will not be able to compensate for the cold from the Arctic winds. According to them, when the stream is completely stopped, a new Ice Age will begin in Europe.

Okay stop the presses...

Polish scientists? First they tried to force us into believing global warming, but polish-scientists predicting a new ice-age?

Then again, anyone believing in global warming would probably believe in polish scientists.

NYPD Re-Arming With Smaller TASER's

Some cops are packing a new kind of cutting-edge heat.
About 20 cops have begun carrying more lightweight, compact Tasers. The include supervisors from five precincts -- in Harlem in Manhattan, East Flatbush and East New York in Brooklyn, Far Rockaway in Queens and Highbridge in The Bronx, as well as two Emergency Services Units. The new model is called the X-26 Taser.

The weapons are part of a pilot program to replace the old, more cumbersome M-26 model Tasers that are on the verge of being discontinued by the manufacturer, police said.

The weapons are still outfitted with a laser sight for accuracy, which projects a red beam of light, and a high-intensity white laser sight for low light situations. According to the manufacturer, the sting of the new Tasers is more powerful that their predecessors, although NYPD brass said the weapons use the same cartridge as the older models and that they are still being tested to determine if they pack a stronger punch.

Were the valiant members of the NYPD to learn that TASER stands for Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle,  they'd do one of two things; return to beating suspects senseless with BILLY clubs, or demand a new name for the TASER so as not to appear even more silly than they already are.

Silly is of course defined as: long petitioning the TASER manufacturer to develop a smaller weapon, since the current version is simply too bulky and cannot easily be reached by 5% of the fatasses who have way too much hip and way too little length of arm.

Perhaps they'll even  re-name the smaller ones TASDA, for  Thomas A Swift's Diet Alternative.

Obama And The Great Pumpkin

The key evidence proving Whittaker Chambers' allegations against Soviet spy Alger Hiss, an important member of the U.S. State Department, became notoriously known as the "Pumpkin Papers," for they were secretly placed by Chambers in a hollowed-out pumpkin in the patch on his family farm.

Rep. Darrell Issa, poised to become chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is not afraid of the monstrous task of cleaning skeletons from the closets and carving the pumpkins to reveal their slimy, seedy contents to the American public. And conservative candidates, if elected, pledge to begin the messy process of repealing the rotten stench of unconstitutional legislation.
A great pumpkin paper harvest begins this November 2. I have eerie premonitions of a monstrous mash of pumpkin available for an enormous American pie, baked by a new Congress with a real conservative recipe.

And I for one am barely constraining my glee at the mere thought of someone, ANYONE, taking a hard look at Obama and his mysterious cronies. Let a Conservative do something, well, childish, in High School, and the Yellowstream Media has ALL the details in a nanosecond, but cannot seem to locate the President of The United States' birth certificate?

Can you even imagine what a dutiful examination of this man is likely to turn up?

Glee is just around the corner.

The REAL Folks Behind The "One Nation " Rally...

A close look at the Saturday "One Nation" rally in Washington reveals something quite telling. It was a major gathering of the "progressive" left, highly billed, vigorously promoted. And it happened to include -- in fact, it warmly accepted -- the endorsement of Communist Party USA.
Expectedly, a bunch of the rally's endorsers carried the word "progress" or "progressive" in their title, from People’s Organization for Progress to Progressive Democrats of America. More still unhesitatingly describe themselves as progressive, from racial eugenicist Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood to Norman Lear's heirs at People for the American Way, plus the usual suspects from the "social justice" Religious Left.
And then, too, there was CPUSA.

Why is this so remarkable? It's remarkable because historically, communist involvement at these rallies has been meticulously concealed, hidden from progressives, with the communists using the progressives as props -- as dupes. That the two sides here, on Saturday, happily accepted one another, proudly uniting, shows how far to the left progressives have moved, not to mention their unflagging confidence under the ascendancy of Obama-Pelosi-Reid.
My personal experience on this is very instructive. I've chronicled how communists, for a century now, cunningly manipulated progressives, surreptitiously drawing them into their rallies, protests, and petitions, not letting themselves (or their intentions) be known. I have fliers from marches sixty and seventy years ago, with many of the same endorsers that were there on Saturday, but with CPUSA's name smartly absent, even as CPUSA members canvassed the rally, if not spearheading it.

Back then, the communists' stunning successes suckering progressives shocked even Moscow. They fooled them right up to the front gates of the White House in the summer of 1940, where the hideous communist front the American Peace Mobilization duped even the New York Times into headlining it as a "clergy group." They pulled off an extraordinary stunt in Chicago in the summer of 1968, sabotaging the Democratic National Convention. Communists managed to enlist progressives into undermining their own Democratic presidents and parties and platforms.

As an indicator of the success and duration of this manipulation, consider this fact:
When Congress, in December 1961, published its seminal investigation of communist fronts, titled "Guide to Subversive Organizations and Publications," a product of research dating to the founding of the American Communist Party in Chicago in 1919, the most popular index listing started with the word "Progressive." It was progressive groups that were misled, used, abused, and infiltrated more than any other.

How long has this continued? All the way to the 2008 election.
Consider the group Progressives for Obama, formed during Obama's presidential bid. It was loaded with and even founded by some hardcore communists from the 1960s. Consider merely two of them: Tom Hayden, one of the group's four founders, and Mark Rudd, one of the 94 original signers. Hayden and Rudd had been leaders of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which subverted the policies and plans of Democratic presidents ranging from Vietnam to the 1968 convention. In 2008, both Hayden and Rudd suddenly reemerged as "Progressives for Obama."

Rudd’s take on how Obama won the 2008 election is shrewd -- and dead on. Understanding that moderates and independents made the difference, Rudd noted the crucial importance of Obama not openly conceding his far-left views. Rudd wrote,

Obama is a very strategic thinker. He knew precisely what it would take to get elected and didn’t blow it. But he also knew that what he said had to basically play to the center to not ... scare centrist and cross-over voters away. He made it. ... And I agree with this strategy. ... Any other strategy invites sure defeat. It would be stupid to do otherwise in this environment.

Basically, what Rudd said is that Obama hoodwinked "centrist" and "cross-over" voters. As Rudd rightly put it, Obama couldn't be candid about his true intentions in "this environment." That's an environment where Americans, in poll after poll, have described themselves as "conservative" over "liberal" by a margin of 2:1, by approximately 40% to 20%, for decades now. Incredibly, those numbers were unchanged even on November 4, 2008, when Obama easily won the election.

Thus, a candidate like Obama can succeed only by pushing his agenda guardedly. He ran as a centrist, not as National Journal's certified "most liberal senator in 2007." It worked. As Rudd put it, Obama "didn't blow it."

America’s exalted moderates and independents were duped by a nebulous, catch-all-be-all banner of "change." Now, the progressives are in power, ready to implement the kind of change they had in mind all along..."

And the hits just keep on comin...don't they?
In the Obama presidency, we have been privileged (?) to witness the single biggest threat our nation has  faced since the Brits came within a hairsbreadth of deciding that funneling more men and money to America was worth it in order to win the Revolutionary War.

King George blinked. Caliph Barry keeps pushing. To be honest, I didn't think America had the gumption to fight back this time around, and never have I been more pleased to have been proved incorrect.

So far. It sure looks as if come November 4th we'll de-fang the traitorous scum who've turned coat and led the charge to destroy America, but like rust, commies and crooks and insurgents never sleep. Guess this is what happens as a man gets older. Wonders whether or not the generations to come still have the fortitude to stand the wall.

Unlike the author of this piece I'm sure that enough of the electorate have been stirred from their stupor and won't stop the good fight until America is once again under control of Americans.  But as he says, "We'll see."

Florida Case Puts Focus on Issue of Absentee Ballot Fraud

When police raided Daytona Beach City Commissioner Derrick Henry's office this week and seized his computer, they say they discovered evidence of what election experts say has become a rampant, largely ignored and troubling issue in Florida — the widespread abuse of absentee ballots.
Police say Henry's computer was used to obtain dozens of absentee ballots prior to the city's Aug. 24 elections, in which he was re-elected."

Mr. Henry is a black democrat. Democrats of every persuasion, as long as its black or hispanic, usually remain at arms length from investigation in southern Florida, because any evidence against them better be air-tight or else the dreaded R word is hurled from pillar to post.

Looks like they caught themselves a genuine dumbass who cannot even hide behind his melanin.

Oh and by the way; I couldn't find ANY indication to his political affiliation in the story, but rest assured this mutt is a certifiable card carrying democrapper.

Idiot Yellowstream Media Headline Of The Day...

Off-duty Corrections officer shot after pointing .9mm at NYPD

I knew the NYPD preferred peashooters but a .9mm ( A BB is approx 4.6mm) round is even worse than imagined. Probably don't need anything bigger, as they are world renowned for being excellent shots. And no, it certainly cannot be a typo, as the Daily Snooze referenced the gun's caliber yet again in the following pic:

.9mm that the Corrections officer allegedly pointed at police.

Revisiting The 2007 Connecticut Murders Of Mrs. Petit And Her Two Daughters...

Mrs. Petit and her two daughters had been raped. Her husband was beaten unconscious by a baseball bat, losing at least 6 pints of blood in the process. The two murderers had staked out their prey the evening before, taken their fun and stolen what money they could. Now they would be receiving another $15,000, and as soon as Mrs. Petit returned from the bank it would be time to run...

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. that Monday, Ms. Hawke-Petit walked into a Bank of America branch and withdrew $15,000 from the account she shared with her husband. Mr. Hayes waited in the parking lot in Maplecroft Plaza, the same shopping center where the two men had watched Ms. Hawke-Petit and her daughter the day before.

Ms. Hawke-Petit told the teller that she had to have the money because her family was being held hostage, and that if the police were notified, her family would be killed.

Debbie Biggins, 50, was opening a new account at the bank when she noticed Ms. Hawke-Petit, who seemed tense and in a rush. “I could feel it,” Mrs. Biggins said in a recent interview. “I felt fear.” After Ms. Hawke-Petit left, Mrs. Biggins said, she saw the teller hand a manager a slip of paper.

A bank employee called 911 about 9:30. “The call came in as a suspicious transaction with a hostage situation, but it wasn’t clear,” said a law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the matter is still under investigation. The Cheshire police have refused to release a full timeline indicating when officers arrived on Sorghum Mill Drive, but described their response as “immediate.”

By 9:45 a.m., seven to nine Cheshire police officers, including SWAT team members, were working to secure a perimeter around the Petit house, and a police helicopter was en route.

They were of course too late. Forget what you see on your favorite crime drama, cops don't rush to the scene of a crime and burst in like the avenging cavalry. They must first set up a perimeter.

Half an hour after the call went in they were still setting up their perimeter when the Petit women were killed. To this day the police do not know how many cops were on the scene and the likely reason they will not release a full timeline is because they really don't have a clue as to when it hit the fan.

Neither killer was armed with anything more potent than an air rifle. Three women lay near death while the police took their time. All of this is revisited because the sentencing trial has begun for one of the animals, but we reported upon how unprotected these poor women were back in August of 2007 when the crime occurred, received the obligatory emails and derogatory comments defending the Dr. and the local police, but since this is in the news anew, the horror of that day needed to be experienced again.

The men in their lives failed miserably. Yet over three years later are still being canonized.

You can click the headline link for the full NY Times story, and an easy Google will provide a lot of additional links to what went down that day.

History Of The World: Modern Mans Preferred Methods Of Mutilation: Conclusion

For Now...

Once upon a time, it was a dark and stormy night..... then enthusiasts and researchers came to an agreement. The world has not been the same since.

Back in the good old days, whenever the military would test a new round they simply shot them into people. Dead people, mostly. Hundreds, then thousands of rounds and a like number of dead people. Mostly. They'd then send the results to the pencil pushers so as to create a standard that could be replicated by ammunition manufacturers the world over. Not having easy access to dead people, mostly, ammunition manufacturers turned to animals other than homo sapien, and at long last settled upon goats. Teaching goats to emulate bipeds proved to be somewhat more problematic than first believed, so Rube Goldberg-like assemblies were constructed to force the understandably reluctant bovidae to stand there and take it like a man.

Time passed...(cue leaves blowing across a white picket fence... dub violin music).

Animal Rights Groups formed and protested, violently protested against such heinous treatment of otherwise merry animals, and for a time these tests were conducted under a shroud of secrecy in Europe and other dirty places so as to escape the wrath of the goat-lovers.

Time passed...(cue a massive storm blowing tree stumps into a white picket fence...dub organ music).

Animal Rights Groups caught on, and to placate them all such tests were halted and Europe even avowed to some day unite into one big happy union to prove how sorry they all were for allowing such horrendous treatment of other animals.

Meanwhile, hunters and plinkers and reloaders were fashioning their own standards, and began shooting bullets into bars of soap and water-filled milk jugs. But, while housewives agreed to the use of their otherwise unusable jugs, they remonstrated mightily against the sudden dearth of hydrolyzed fats, so soap as point of impact dropped to history's wayside. Where none dared bend over to retrieve it, I might add.

Time passed....(cue marching black people bearing signs demanding equality...dub angry voices).

In 1964, the Civil Rights Act was made into law, and constabularies across America were forced into the same conclusion: Black people could no longer be used to test ammunition either. The military was hemming and hawing and the backyard enthusiasts were fer chrissake using Dove Bars and water containers and, since any of the above required actual, on-hands physical labor, all were deemed unacceptable so the constabularies once again sought the advice of the ammunition manufacturers.

ENTER THE BLACK TALON

Winchester was the first such manufacturer to respond to the heart wrenching please from law enforcement. It too was caught with its pants down with regards to the sudden onslaught of laws prohibiting the use of black men  for civilian ballistic testing purposes, and sent its researchers to discover a suitable replacement, forthwith...

...And that replacement was the infamous Black Talon, whose hollow-pointed petals opened razorsharply wide when shot into 10% gelatin.

Then the same constabularies that DEMANDED a better round, one with far more stopping power than even the old Flying Ashtrays, the same departments began screaming to the high heavens when they discovered that CIVILIANS could purchase these COP KILLER BULLETS, and what fun is it when any old Joe Shmoe can use the same ammo as those who wear a star?

They lobbied long and hard for politicians to jump on the COP KILLER BULLET bandwagon, and sure enough, every liberal democrat who didn't know one end of a gun from the other was weeping to a willing media about how the world as we know it was soon to end.

Winchester, even though they were mightily pissed about law enforcement begging for better stuff then telling them who they could and could not sell the stuff to, changed the name of the BLACK TALON to RANGER, improved it a shitload, and all was well since who, after all, could complain about a round that was named after a masked man who fought for law and order in the early western United States?

Speer than came out with their GOLD DOT, Remington with the GOLDEN SABRE, and since both names had the word GOLD instead of BLACK, all was once again right with the world. Hell's bells what politician could find quarrel with a bullet using the French spelling of the word SABER, but as soon as the smoke cleared Remington changed the name to the Americanized SABER and no one even noticed.

We ALL learned something. Make something sound scary and the tree hugging lunatics would spare no expense in banning it. We also learned that both Speer and Remington welcomed input from hunters and backyard enthusiasts, so what was once a military/law enforcement cabal became open to the public. One could even purchase the exact same ballistic gelatin as fancy schmancy researchers, and the civilian testing boom began in earnest, much to the delight of used milk jugs the country over, but the calibration standards STILL needed to be tweaked, and would they join with us in finding one we could understand without being a Constitutional Scholar like our President?

But it did a lot more than tweak the imaginations of hard core gunners. Folks who traditionally were full frontal Fudds were also intrigued by the thought of gelatin shoots, and that meant hobnobbing with 2nd Amendment advocates who passed the word along that yes Virginia, the Constitution guarantees your right to keep and bear arms.

Bingo. The horse was out of the barn and nothing could entice him back inside. Doesn't mean that every last Fudd Fort was summarily shut down due to lack of business, but the love of Freedom brought many an otherwise uncaring hunter over to the side of the good guys. Then the internet came along and everything changed yet again.

GLOCK Talk, AR15.com, and more 1911-featured websites than you could shake a stick at sprang up like daisies after a spring rain. And the information spread like wild fire. Men were no longer content to ask what sort of gun and ammunition was legal in their neck of the woods, but how to make ALL guns and ammunition's legal everywhere.

And testing the darned things was as easy as asking someone for the internet address of the best ballistic gelatin store. Science fella's went hand in hand with gunny's, and YES, they combined to create the best calibration methods possible, and the ammo makers tossed even more bucks into the equation because they knew damned well it was good for business.

We got the bullets and the help we needed. Sure, you can still shoot at milk jugs all the livelong day like a certain Box O' Shitferbrains does, but why bother since its cheaper in the long run to order some gun-gello and have at it. Means you have to know how to add, divide, and multiply, so add a halfway decent calculator and stop whining.

Time passed...(Fade In to a long and winding footpath covered with leaves and debris. An ever so fragile sprite of wind begins stirring the detritus...no music...just listen to the breeze).

The Right To Keep And Bear Arms. Some fellows came up with the crazy notion that the Bill of Rights might even apply to weapons OTHER than firearms. Founding Father's didn't say "guns", or "rifles", just "Arms".

Could KNIVES be "Arms" too? To peruse most of the knife forums you wouldn't think so. Most if not ALL of the queries revolve around what to buy that'll suit my state's laws regarding blade length, etc, rather than what can I do to make ALL knives legal EVERYWHERE?

This time around, the patriots don't have a Remington or Speer or even Winchester to help. Knife manufacturer's hoard their knowledge like Pirate's gold, so the backyard researchers spend more time arguing over what constitutes a genuine "test" than how do we get together and make knives just as free as firearms.

The mindset is nowhere NEAR as American as it should be, with the majority of blade owners willing to kowtow to their local, state, and ultimately federal government when it comes to exercising what they never needed permission to exercise. Once upon a time gun owners were a mirror image of today's knife enthusiast, but I can't help thinking that maybe, just maybe, gunny's and blademen might be cut from a different cloth.

FADE IN: Montage of cavemen killing then cutting up their dinner. Cue lots of drums.

Mankind's first weapon was not a karate kick to the brain housing group, as Asians would have you believe, but probably a thick branch or hefty rock. Either seemed to be better than mud wrestling a cave bear into submission, but once the beast was Triple D'd as the cops like to say (definitely done dancing), doling it out proved difficult, since, in order for our brains to enlarge, we had to lose the gigunda jaws of our ape cousins because a monkey or gorilla skull is totally together by the age of 3...as opposed to our 33..or else the powerful chewing action of enormous bicuspids would tear the head hither and yon. (No relation to Michael Yon. That we know of).

We discovered how better to kill but then needed something sharper than our own feeble teeth and nails so  went about finding and sharpening all sorts of stuff.

HALF A MILLION YEARS LATER (give or take so work with me here)

Gun laws come and go. The internet helps bring more and more gunners together. Gunners rejoice in their newly returned civil rights.

Guys who like knives sit by their computers and...

Are still at the stages of arguing what is the best way to determine which steel is "right" for which desired characteristic.  Spyderco and Benchmade and Kershaw aren't letting the cat out of the bag with regards to their in-house test results, and to be perfectly honest I don't think they every truly will.

And then there are the steel manufacturers, too.

Hitachi makes ZDP-189 stainless steel. A highly sought after product that in my opinion is something of a one-trick-pony, but that's a story for a different day. Hitachi is treating ZDP like their own personal Manhattan project, and while the formulation itself is easy enough to figure out, knife makers do not have the megabucks of a Remington or Winchester, and must take such things one slow step at a time. Were Hitachi to be more forthcoming with regards to wear and strength parameters, the knife blade industry would take a mini quantum leap because they could skip all of the time consuming, costly, and get along to making knives of al shapes and sizes with the stuff, rather than tippy-toeing around for fear they've made a thing too short, too long, too thick, or too damned thin.

So there we have it. Big company knife makers won't release THEIR results, a lot of steel mills act the same way, and its up to the backyard testers to push the industry ever upward.

Good thing the British aren't coming.

Oh and PS: My Shallot is back from uber-tester Jim, and I'll be looking into some YouTubery with it as promised.

P-PS: Boy do I long for the days when the product manager of the Gold Dot bullet would actually email me on how much powder to use when Crazy Jay and I were looking to make a Tyrannosaurus version of his famous round. No charge, no sweat, all results are good results he'd say. Knowledge benefits us all.

Think he'd call Spyderco for me if I said pretty-please?

Time For A Break As We Re-Visit Some Of The Words And Wisdom Of Caliph Barack

"You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig..."

"..I AM my brother's keeper..." (Right, George?)

Rick Sanchez Finally Does Something SO Stupid...

...Even CNN Can't Take It Anymore...

(Oct. 1) -- Late this afternoon, CNN announced that it had fired anchor Rick Sanchez following controversial comments he made about Jews, the media and Comedy Central host Jon Stewart.

"Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well," a statement from CNN read.

Appearing Thursday on the Sirius radio program "Stand Up! With Pete Dominick," Sanchez, who was born in Cuba and grew up in Florida, repeatedly took aim at Stewart, calling him a "bigot."

When pressed by Dominick as to what he meant specifically, Sanchez gave the following explanation.

"I think he looks at the world through his mom, who was a schoolteacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that," Sanchez said, according to transcripts provided by the radio program's blog. "Great, I'm so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle-class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine."

Yeah, yeah, he said the "J" word in speaking of Stewart, but the J-word is no where near as feather ruffling as the n-word so its all in the context. And listen, growing up in NYC taught me beyond a shadow of a doubt how Jews and Blacks and Hispanics think of one another. Circle jerk of hatred.

Then again, Sanchez is simply so very stupid as to be above the usual prejudices all people of all nationalities experience. Maybe someday DUMBASS might be added to the little box where you check your race or nationality, but until then it isn't a place to go hide in.

San Jose boy cited after pointing fake gun at school

A 12-year-old boy has been cited by San Jose police for aiming a fake handgun at his school after he got into a fistfight.

The replica gun -- which can shoot plastic pellets -- was unloaded, police said, and no one was injured in the incident. The boy was cited for "brandishing a replica firearm in a threatening manner."

Although such guns are readily available, they can be extremely dangerous, experts said. Because they look virtually identical to real weapons, officers have shot people who are armed with them. In July, Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies looking for an illegal marijuana-growing operation shot and killed a man when he brandished a pellet rifle at them"

They are dangerous because they can cause the police to go batshit and shoot to kill. I see. Beg, pardon, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Nowhere in the article is the word "toy" mentioned, because police have long asked that "replica", and "fake" be used instead, since even they get embarrassed now and again from the very idea of employing deadly force upon a child, usually, who is doing nothing more than playing cops and robbers or soldiers and indians or liberals and real people. Fellow I know who teaches journalism at the University of Florida says that the Sheriff's office has often petitioned the school, as well as the local newspapers and TV stations, to try and refrain from the word "toy" because these "replica's" are...wait for it...wait for it....

...too dangerous to be called toys. Local radio guy I spoke with said he knew of no such agreement with his station, then added that all they do is read verbatim the AP or local paper's accounting of such an event anyway.

Time was when every cop had a kid who played with toy guns, and every rookie who didn't teamed with an older cop that did. Familiarity with distinguishing REAL from NOT REAL is important in EVERYONE'S daily activities, but it is entirely possible that someone has indeed left the house then headed to work while driving his son's battery-powered toy Jeep instead of the family's SUV, so the benefit of the doubt shouldn't be summarily dismissed.

Also, law enforcement in the above instance did not make the above sighting, as a passing moron motorist was the one who called police upon witnessing the boy playing with his toy.

California. "Nuff said.
