When You Can't Get HST or Rangers...

Try PMC Starfire. The .40 and .357 Magnum versions all seem to create the same .75" to .90" expanded round, and both the 155's and 180 grainers feed well in Glocks 23 and 27.

Before the new Rangers and Federals HST, there was the Starfire design that was at long last copied by better known handgun ammunition manufacturers, and the only knock on the cartridge was it's propensity to go FMJ when fired through heavy layers of denim, and that was from but one test among many others that returned excellent ballistics.

It is also available in .45, 10 mm, .357 Sig, 9 mm, and .38 Special.
