As Florida Goes, So Goes The Rest Of The Nation...

Relative to 2nd Amendment friendly elected officials, so...

NRA-PVF and Unified Sportsmen of Florida Endorse Charlie Crist for Governor

August 7, 2006

The Honorable Charlie Crist
Florida Attorney General
Candidate For Florida Governor

Dear General Crist:

The National Rifle Association of America (NRA-PVF) and Unified Sportsmen of Florida are pleased to inform you that both organizations have endorsed you for Governor of Florida in the 2006 Republican Primary.

Throughout your career as a Florida legislator and statewide office holder, you have been unwavering and have stood strong in support of law-abiding gunowners and sportsmen. Your background of legislative service demonstrates your commitment to the cause of freedom and protection of constitutional rights.

No one has been stronger in support of Second Amendment, self-defense, and anti-crime issues than Charlie Crist and we sincerely appreciate your solid pro-sportsmen, pro-Second Amendment, pro-freedom record.

Your outstanding and unblemished record on issues important to firearms owners and sportsmen stands above all others and is the mark of a true champion of freedom and the Bill of Rights.

You have earned our endorsement and our gratitude.

We are urging our members, and all citizens who support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, to put Freedom first and work to help elect Charlie Crist Governor of Florida, where you can continue your strong tradition of outstanding support on these core issues and values.

If we may be of service to you, please don't hesitate to contact me at (850) 222-9518.

Sincerely,
Marion P. Hammer
NRA Past President
Executive Director Unified Sportsmen of Florida

Charlie is getting my vote. I've liked what he's been saying, and so does the flawed, but valuable National Rifle Association. With Charlie at the helm, Florida is likely to pass even more legislation designed to regain the rights lost during the Clinton years of disassembling the Constitution in order to keep minority groups safe and sane and so secure.

I urge all Floridians to help elect Charlie Crist. Maybe, just maybe, we can start doing something about southern Florida, and should the bravery of the Jeb Bush years go on, such common sense will continue to be an example for the rest of the United States.

Pompous bullshit over. The stones start here and don't let them wither ever again.

Even Texas might one day return to the fold. Never know. Stranger things have happened.
