The Florida Senate Judiciary Committee Passes “Individual Personal Private Property Protection” legislation...Pre-Date

In my haste to post the NRA news concerning the Florida Individual Personal Private Property Protection bill, I forgot to add that the proposed law passed the Judiciary Committee by a vote of 8-3.

Simply put, should the law pass full muster, employers will no longer be able to demand that employees leave their Constitutional rights at home during working hours by banning firearms from company parking lots.

8-3 is significant in that it appears the Senate will vote along strict party lines. and we're all keeping our fingers crossed that this gets to Governor Crist's desk soon.
