Things I'm Learning About The New Shotgun Rounds
Aguila 383 grain mini-slug. 1250 FPS. Interesting.
Federal Hydra-Shok 438 grain. 1300 FPS. Nice expansion.
Not that you cannot do better, but the Aguila mini might have low enough recoil for the kick-sensitive among us, and the Hydra-Shok, in a 12 gauge variant, is simply cool.
Yeah, yeah, I understand that the Hydra pic is probably just an enlarged photo of the handgun line, and the rifling marks are a dead giveaway it wasn't fired from a smooth bore, but the only way to see what the 12 gauge version does is to get 'em and shoot 'em.
This is the kinda stuff that idjit from Box O' Clueless should be doing with that big ass back yard of his that he doesn't mind littering with mounds of shell casings.
