DISEASE

Before you begin hearing about it from the screaming media Nelly's, let me describe Florida's "Disease Cluster".

That's what the loons are calling areas that appear to have more illnesses than normal, and in Florida's case Palm Beach County reported 4 children with cancerous brain tumors over a two-year period and there is absolutely no environmental reason for it. The "normal" rate for such cancers in that area is 2, so this leads to headlines screaming CANCER RATE DOUBLES IN PALM BEACH!!!

As every last disease specialist...not on the Huffington Post's payroll, that is...will tell you; sometimes people who are prone to illnesses do happen to live rather close to one another.

End of story. The Nelly's have located 13 or 14 or is it 15 such "clusters" across the country and want a Congressional investigation into why sick people are permitted to move next to one another. Or something like that, because they're liberals and I cannot understand a bloody thing they say half the time.

ANY serious illness to a youngster is a tragedy. We just don't need to spend billions of dollars to come to the conclusion that spindly folks shouldn't marry other spindly folks if they want to have robust offspring. Because that's precisely what researchers know for a fact but can't come out and say for fear of being vilified by groups believing that in every instance whereby more than two men dig shovels into the ground at the same point in time, some form of cancer pops out to eradicate the neighborhood.

Quick Hit

I'm really feeling sorry for those poor Japanese. Lots of their nukes went belly up and of course you know what that means.

The average Japanese fella will be exposed to nearly the level of rads frequent fliers do here from traipsing through them Homeland (sig heil) Security X-Ray'ers.

Took a tidal wave to frig the Japs. All we needed were Nappy and Prince Barry.

Revenge Of The Frosted Flakes

Our mole at Frost Cutlery tells us that whenever we, or anyone else for that matter, gets on the old queen's case...James A. Frost...first off he goes ballistic and then asks for complimentary emails to read on the air in order to placate his enormous ego. Which explains why tonight the old queen is barking out pleasantries sent by braindead sycophants on crack.

In other news:

My cameraperson and I are working on a sharpness test featuring GENUINELY sharp blades versus a representative butter knife pot steel wonder from Frost. We'll haul it on up to YouTube as soon as we work out the kinks. Oh yeah, and am still awaiting Blogger's version of podcasting. The tech folks tells me any day now.

And as always, don't fall for their lies. Frost Cutlery neither makes nor sells CUSTOM knives. To the old queen, every knife with a blade longer than 3" is a Bowie, every grind other than drop or clip point is a tanto, and every knife with a newish handle is a "custom". All several thousand of them.

Fun With The GLOCK 21

Played with a GLOCK 21 on Wednesday. Generation 3, and the thing had a laser sight. I always figured if I moved back to the .45 ACP round it'd be in the pipe of a 1911 but to be absolutely honest, out-of-the-box to out-of-the-box, there's no comparison.

That is unless your OOTB 1911 is a $4 grand fluffer and buffer.

I've never been a pleading princess when it came to the fit, finish, and feel of a handgun, but the G-21 fits me like they used my right hand for the template. Not a big aficionado of the laser-deal, I squeezed 'em off al dente and 25' shots acted like blood brothers that were never to be parted. Standing off-hand plinks that you could almost cover with a quarter isn't anything to sneeze at, even with the ancient and much-despised...by me...Federal Hydro Shoks that were new when Hector was a pup. Problem is, the local tin star yokels use them, so civvies without much training or common sense, do too.

Still don't know if I'll switch back to the .45 ACP but gone are my daydreams of once again toting a 1911. Funny thing about it is, there are so many 1911's out there to choose from, you can get one cheaper than a G-21, but why the hell compromise.

Top 10 Man Flicks Of The Modern Era

I was going to include this as part of a New Year's Top-10 Of All Time List, but after seeing someone else try the same thing and mention Top Gun, I nearly gave an involuntary technicolor yawn. Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer standing toe-to-toe in nothing but towels had me wondering who was going to be begging for tongue first, but here's a genuine Top 10 Man Movies Of All Time list:

In no particular order mind you...

The Godfather
The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
Patton
The Alamo (Wayne's version)
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
The Day The Earth Stood Still
Die Hard (if for nothing else than to give Bruce Willis a nod for being a manly actor in an age of pouting boys)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (had to be a comedy somewhere that made men laugh because Adam Sandler doesn't count and never will)
The Magnificent Seven
Rocky I

Include your own, go right ahead. Just no chick-flicks disguised as testosterone epics, (like Top-Gun) please.

Michael Yon Calls BS On Rolling Stone

Using all its august wisdom and combat experience, Rolling Stone has created a minor kerfuffle regarding our guys wasting bad guys, and Michael Yon adds his two cents:

The killing of the armed Taliban on the motorcycle was legal and within the rules of engagement.  Law and ROE are related but separate matters.  In any case, the killing was well within both the law and ROE.  The Taliban on the back of the motorcycle raised his rifle to fire at our Soldiers but the rifle did not fire.  I talked at length with several of the Soldiers who were there and they gave me the video.  There was nothing to hide.  I didn’t even know about the story until they told me.  It can be good for Soldiers to shoot and share videos because it provides instant replay and lessons learned.  When they gave me the video and further explained what happened, I found the combat so normal that I didn’t even bother publishing it, though I should have because that little shooting of the two Taliban was the least of the accomplishments of these Soldiers, and it rid the Arghandab of two Taliban.

Some people commented that our Soldiers used excessive force by firing too many bullets.  Hogwash.  And besides, they were trying to kill each other.  Anyone who has seen much combat with our weak M-4 rifles realizes that one shot is generally not enough, and the Taliban were speeding at them on a motorbike, which very often are prepared as suicide bombs.  If that motorcycle had been a bomb, as they often are, and got inside the group of Soldiers and exploded, they could all have been killed.  Just yesterday, in Paktika, three suicide attackers came in, guns blazing, and detonated a huge truck bomb.  Depending on which reports you read, about twenty workers were killed and about another fifty wounded.

In the video, our guys would have been justified in firing twice that many bullets, but at some point you are wasting ammo and that is a combat sin.  The Soldiers involved in that shooting told me that the Taliban on the back may have pulled the AK trigger, but the loaded AK did not fire because the Taliban didn’t have a round in the chamber.  Attention to detail.  At least one also had an ammunition rack strapped across his chest.

This could go on for pages, but Rolling Stone is not worth it, and thrashing them might only build their readership.  I’ve found in the past that boycotts work.  I led a boycott against one magazine and it went bankrupt.  It’s doubtful that Rolling Stone will go bankrupt for its sins, but you can cost them money not by boycotting their magazine, but by boycotting their advertisers.  That hurts.  Just pick an advertiser whose products you already buy, boycott it, and tell the advertiser why you are not buying their product.

The 5.56 is a varmint round. Men and deer share a common size and not a state in the Union allows hunters to use varmint rounds on deer. What the 5/2 did that was wrong was release the video, but that could have gone down in any number of ways, including an errant media person snitching the damn thing. But to the real crux of the matter, no; the force employed was far from excessive.

Lego's For Big Boys

Barry Bonds And The Orchid

Larry Bowers, a leading anti-doping expert, testified about the side effects of steroids, which prosecutors plan to link to the physical changes they say Bonds underwent between 1999 and 2003. One of those physical changes is purported to be the shrinkage of testicles, which Bonds' lawyers insist can be measured only with an instrument called an orchidometer, which measures testicle size.

Ruby asked Bowers about the topic. He replied that he's not an expert.
When Bell takes the stand Monday, she's expected to be asked about the change. That will be one of the many moments to watch in the trial's second week.

Seems like they can measure petty much anything these days, doesn't it?  And what's this with guys named "Barry" reputed to have tiny stones? One need not resort to some super-dee-duper gizmo to detect mini-balls, either. For example, just a peek at president Barry is all it should take.

Parsing Obama

"Kinetic military action." Is how president Barrack Hussein Obama describes our attack on Libya.

Problem with that, is the fact that as commander-in-chief, the president can and often does circumnavigate and even create laws in times of duress. So then...

A rapist can redefine himself as a Kinetic Boyfriend.
A murderer can seek shelter under the guise of a Kinetic Retroactive Abortionist.
A car thief can hang a shingle describing himself as a Kinetic Auto Dealership.

And of course a man who breaks the law and deconstructs the Constitution can call himself a Kinetic President.

This guy would be funny if he wasn't so downright stupid.

Obama, Islam, and the Forcible Virginity Test

Two months after Obama insisted that President Mubarak had to resign after 30 years in office for not being nice enough to the "young democracy demonstrators" in Tahrir Square, the New York Times has finally stated the obvious: the Muslim Brotherhood is winning the power struggle in Egypt. Duh. Ya think?
The media have also belatedly seen fit to print the fact that sixteen unmarried women were arrested in the demonstrations in Tahrir Square, and that Egyptian military submitted all sixteen to a compulsory "virginity test" in jail, just to see if they were properly modest Muslim virgins.

Think about the sadistic "logic" of that. To see if unmarried Muslim women were virgins, obedient to Islam, they were essentially humiliated, abused, and perhaps raped in public.

Will somebody please tell Germaine Greer? Or Helen Thomas? Christiane Ahmanpour? The nearest Women's Studies Department at your local university? Or are their phones busy again, and they're not paying attention? Maybe they're afraid of "Islamophobia"?

......................................................
Obama has never understood the US Constitution, apparently, because he has that basic delusion of all the little leftocrats everywhere: He's the good guy. All that stuff about "power corrupts" just doesn't apply to him. That's only for the bad people, you see. Like Christian conservatives.

Obama is a power-happy ideologue, and the biggest question today is whether the United States Constitution can survive his years in power.  The founders knew about the Obamas of this world, because they saw them everywhere. There is nothing new about grandiosity and fragile self-esteem. You can read all about it in Gibbons' Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, and before that, the Biblical Book of Kings. It's even in the Epic of Gilgamesh.  Human nature hasn't changed one little bit in 6,000 years.

The American founders built the Constitution to withstand narcissistic power grabbers.  After their handiwork was adopted, some of them saw Napoleon rise to power after the French Revolution, the original Man on a White Horse, come to rescue humanity from the anarchy of revolution. Napoleon killed more Europeans than anybody else before the two world wars. The founders didn't like what they saw in France. Jefferson and Franklin both had been US Ambassadors there. They could see it for themselves.

After Napoleon, Europe wandered away from its own Enlightenment tradition into Marxism, National Socialism, monarchism, revenge-driven nationalism, imperialism, Islam (in the Ottoman Empire), and any number of other tyrannies. The trendiest thinkers over there are boasting how they are "post-modern," which means "I'm dead set against the Enlightenment."

That's how Marxism has now become big on American campuses. Our professors are aping their European idols' love affairs with totalitarian ideologies, in spite of the millions of victims those pathologies always leave behind. In the ass-backwards world of the Left this is called "Progressivism." Really. Just check 'em out on Huffpo.

Islam came straight from the Arabian desert of the 7th century. It reflects the lives of desert pirates, robbers, rapists and genociders, which was perfectly suited to nomadic life in the desert. That's how tribes conquered each other, as Lawrence of Arabia found out again in World War I. Desert Arabs literally took no prisoners -- except for women and children, who became slaves. Lawrence was a British romantic who hero-worshipped the desert Arabs, and then, after putting King Faisal into power, he decided to disappear forever,  in deep disgust with his own romance with murderous primitives.

Wherever reactionary Islam takes over it re-creates  the 7th century desert. Since the breakdown of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I,  the Muslim world has been zig-zagging between modern values, like equality for women, and medieval desert values. Iran was a great victory for the reactionary throwbacks, and Obama has just tipped the balance in that direction again.

This is exactly what the likes of Code Pink and Bill Ayers were agitating for six months ago, in alliance with Hamas and Hezb'allah. It was so Progressive. The Muslim Revolt may spell the end of women's rights around the Muslim world, as well as electoral government and the whole Constitutional order that made the modern world possible -- including nations of laws, science, technology, free speech, the works.  Reactionary Islam took over in Iran thirty years ago, and now it's out of control, thanks to the criminal collusion of the Left. Don't forget that. This is not just the Mo Bros. It's the Mo's plus Code Pink that makes this happen. If you want to know whom to blame for the forcible "virginity test," yes, you can blame Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamins.

The New York Times reports that the Egyptian Bros and the military are now allied to take over. Right at the start the Bros called for war with Israel, because it was their enemy Mubarak who kept the Egyptian-Israeli Peace treaty going for three decades.  The Bros also brought back from exile their own Ayatollah Khomeini, Al Qaradawi, and celebrated with their own Million Muslim March in Tahrir Square. They also threw out the Google twitter mobster who helped make the revolt happen.

So much for the "young democracy demonstrators." They are being treated like the demonstrators in Tehran, the ones Obama didn't give a hoot about for fear of offending ol' bloody-handed  Ahmadinejad.

Are you surprised? I hope not. We are seeing a chain reaction from Morocco to Pakistan. In two years the chain reactions may be nuclear, starting with Iran, but then followed by everyone who can pay for nukes from Pakistan and North Korea: Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, maybe Bahrain and the UAE. Every Saudi billionaire will want his own nuke, and some of them will pass them on to Al Qaida. Islam is all about charity, you see.

The Middle East has always been a powder keg, and Obama just tossed in a match to see what was gonna happen, like a kid with fireworks. Community agitators live to agitate, and now we see one community after another crumbling as a direct result of all that agit-prop. This is the biggest victory for Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:  Let's light it up and see what happens! No wonder Alinsky dedicated that book to Lucifer.

"All the best revolutions are organic" was Obama's Leninist piece of wisdom when he was yelling at Hillary in the White House several weeks ago. "All the best revolutions." Think about that.

Libya is now being bombed, because, after under-reacting to Ahmadinejad in Tehran, Obama is now over-reacting in Egypt and Libya. Hey, it's a revolution, baby! Celebrate!

Before the Watts Riots of 1966, a famous black radio jockey had this signature slogan: Burn, Baby, Burn! Then the riots happened, with people actually burning down houses, and the jock changed his slogan to: "Have Mercy, Baby!" That's Obama.

What is it about liberals that they can't figure out murderous ideologies?

Future historians will look back and ask "Who lost the Middle East?" The answer is going to hit them right between the eyes: It was Obama's gross arrogance and ignorance, in kowtowing to Islamic fascism just by apologizing to them and giving them the Peace Sign, like some Indian chief in the Lone Ranger. "How! Friend!" "You, me, smoke peace pipe!"

This is because Obama really understands the Underdeveloped World, you see.

Will the US Constitution survive this president? I don't know. Maybe that sturdy old vessel might sail back to harbor, with considerable damage to those old timbers, those strong sails and ropes.

Or maybe it will sink.

What are the odds?

Do we have any takers?

The single reason the world heard little from islam for a few decades or thereabouts, was the fact that islam was dirt poor, but in the good old days so was everyone else until the Industrial Revolution and the seven-league-boot strides taken by modern medicines.

The savages had no way to pay for such luxuries, and remained savages until Henry Ford made the automobile affordable. Cars don't run very well on whale oils and thus had begun the rise of folks who've nothing better to do than check women for signs of virginity or lack thereof.

And the brutes could afford modern weapon systems so there went the neighborhood. Evil children with lots and lots of matches and kindling there for the burning.

And burn they did brother. A hiccup occurred along the way once the savages saw how easily modern armies could defeat their pitiful tank and fighter jet purchases...from the Russians and Chinese who have problems of their own entering the 21st Century...so the creatures upped the ante and decided to go nuclear. Any rational person would protest such goings on but Barack Obama is neither rational nor perhaps even a true person, so he bombs Libya while Iran builds nukes.

Cutlery Corner Scam Alert: Volume 2,464,999

"...cough...hack...tap-tap...howdy folks I'm Todd Boone and this is Cutlery Corner..."

Just a heads-up for those who simply can't help themselves and continue to buy zinc pot metal disguised as knives from that disgusting old queen and Jaba-The-Hut lookalike, Jimmy Frost.

They continue to voice the outright lie that abalone is in danger of being placed on the endangered species list and is therefore becoming scarce. It is not, and it is not. A quick Google affords a look at over 57,000 places to buy abalone, and just one representative ordering house had over 600 various styles to choose from. Abalone remains abundant and cheap.

Why do they do it? First off they're liars. And swindlers, and grifters. And lending an urgency to an imaginary ban is what they hope will stimulate sales. Don't let them fool you. Buy what you want, when you want to, but do so as an educated consumer.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program featuring expectorations galore...aka plenty of spit with very little polish.

All Hands: Navy Sends Pirates Packing

Enterprise Strike Group News Release

ARABIAN SEA, March 25, 2011 - U.S. naval forces disrupted a pirate attack on a Philippine-flagged merchant vessel, after it reported it had been attacked by pirates yesterday.

All 20 Filipino crew members of the Falcon Trader II are safe and in control of the vessel, officials said.
At about 10:30 a.m. local time yesterday, the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise and guided missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf responded to a distress call from the Falcon Trader II reporting that suspected pirates in a small skiff were trying to board the vessel.

In a second report, the Falcon Trader II crew reported pirates aboard, and that all 20 crew members had locked themselves into a safe room, also known as a "citadel." The citadel is a secure room with food, water, communication and control over the vessel's steering and propulsion, officials explained.

A SH-60F helicopter assigned to the "Dragonslayers" of Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron 11 from the Enterprise and a SH-60B helicopter assigned to the "Vipers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 48 from the Leyte Gulf were sent to investigate.

The HS-11 helicopter fired warning shots to dissuade the pirates from continuing their attack. Two pirates were seen jumping off the Falcon Trader II's bow, and the pirates' skiff fled the area, pursued by the HS-11 helicopter.

As the pirate's skiff tried to rendezvous with a larger vessel suspected to be acting as a "mother ship," the pirates shot at the helicopter with assault rifles. The helicopter and its crew were not harmed and returned to continue reconnaissance.
"We could definitely see the muzzle flashes from their AK-47s, but we weren't hit," said Navy Lt. Joshua A. Overn, a pilot aboard the helicopter. "The antipiracy training we had received kicked in, and everyone conducted themselves with poise and professionalism."

With no confirmation that all of the pirates had left the vessel, a Leyte Gulf crew member fluent in Tagalog remained in contact with the Falcon Trader II's Filipino crew and monitored the vessel overnight. After observing no suspicious activity, Leyte Gulf's "visit, board, search and seizure" team secured the vessel. After confirming no pirates remained aboard, they notified the crew that it was safe to come out of the citadel.

"It says a great deal about the inherent flexibility and capability of the Enterprise Strike Group that we were able to conduct counterpiracy operations while simultaneously flying Operation Enduring Freedom missions and coordinating air defense of the region," said Navy Capt. Eugene Black, commanding officer of the Leyte Gulf.
U.S. forces continue to monitor the suspected pirate mother ship, officials said. Pirates are known to keep hostages on mother ships to prevent counterpiracy forces from acting directly against them.

"This is a great example of the teamwork inherent in a Carrier Strike Group," said Navy Rear Adm. Terry Kraft, commander of Enterprise Strike Group. "We were lucky to be on scene when the attack occurred, and everyone did their jobs well."

New "Duke Nuken" Has The Feminazi's Up In Arms

A new videogame that requires you to abduct women and give them a "reassuring slap" if they freak out has gamers and women's rights-groups crying foul.

Brace yourself for the awfully sexist world of Duke Nukem Forever.

The game's 1996 precursor Duke Nukem 3D -- which sold 3.5 million copies, made millions for its developers and transformed the entire world of video games -- depicted women as strippers and prostitutes.  The new iteration of the game, set for release this spring, takes sexism to a new level -- starting with Duke receiving implied oral sex from twins in school uniforms.

"It was offensive then and it's even more offensive now," Jamia Wilson, vice president of the Women's Media Center, told FoxNews.com. "These depictions of women are extremely harmful, especially to young women," she added.

Duke Ferris, editor-in-chief at gamehelper.com, said sexism is an intentional part of Duke Nukem Forever. “The game is meant to objectify women -- that's the point,” he said.

Whine whine whine bitch bitch bitch. Take your "harmful to women" bemoaning and slap the next rapper you see right in the kisser with it.

Yeah right. Moan over a video game while real live "people" are getting awards by the boatload for promoting far worse.

Me, I can't wait to see the Duke again. And oh yeah, I promise not to be harmful to any women.

Bye-Bye Halo-Scam

My Halo-Scam/Echo account was due to expire March 31 but I beat the scurrilous knaves to the punch and removed them from the premises.

To be honest, Blogger wasn't nearly as glitchy for me as Halo/Echo, and paying for something that flat out doesn't work well is absurd. Commenting can continue uncensored and un-moderated as always.

Docs Decide To Do Away With Bothering Gun Owners

A compromise of sorts was reached between those wanting physicians to keep their noses out of our gun cabinets, and the Brady Bunchers who pressure Docs to lecture patients on the hazards of firearms.

The full story isn't available yet, but docs agreed not to keep lists of those refusing to listen to their spiel, and the NRA promised not to sue or force the issue on making nosy medical staffs subject to felony counts for being assholes.

Liberal rags disguised as newspapers are already lying about what Bill SB 432 was intended to do, and calling it a win for the 1st Amendment over the 2nd. Yep; they had the stones to say it was their Constitutional right to harangue patients and keep lists for HMO's to screw with people's medical coverage.

Schumer Lessons Us On Civics

Chuck Schumer recently gave an interview where he gave us a lesson in civics. According to the senior Senator from New York, the three branches of government consist of the House, Senate, and the Presidency.

The surprising part is that Chuckie The Shoe got 2 out of 3 correct. Click here for the full magilla.

Homeowner Snatches Gun From Beaner And Blasts Away

HARLINGEN, TEXAS - Authorities say the man found dead on the side of the road in Harlingen was shot because he was threatening a homeowner, and the homeowner fought back.

It all started around 9:30 Thursday night on Rabb Road in La Feria. Authorities say 31-year-old Francisco Antonio Moreno, Roman Cardoza and another man approached a La Feria homeowner.

The men allegedly forced the homeowner and his son out of their car and demanded they be let inside the house. They used a gun, knives and baseball bat to threaten the homeowner. The sheriff says the homeowner refused, wrestled the gun away and shot in self-defense.

“He felt that if he didn't take any action that he may be a victim. He might have been shot and killed because that was the intent of the particular individual,” says Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio.

Nowhere is the citizenship of the lowlife scum mentioned, but suffice to say they were probably imports from south of the border Obama refuses to guard.

Florida Trying To Find Malpractice Docs Another Line Of Work

Do you own a gun? How many guns do you have? Do your children have access to guns in your home? Did you know that having a gun in your home triples your risk of becoming a homicide victim?

These are questions your doctor may ask you or your children as part of routine physical examinations or questionnaires. These are ethical boundary violations that violate privacy rights of patients and families.

Gun-related questions in doctors' offices are based on a medical political movement against gun owners. That movement is led by the American Academy of Pediatrics, although the AMA and other physician groups have launched similar efforts against gun owners.

Sometimes a doctor is right to ask a patient about guns in the home. A mentally disturbed patient who has expressed intent to do harm would be an example where such intervention is justified. But in most cases, questions about guns do not reflect a physician's concern about gun safety. Rather, they are intended to prejudice impressionable and trusting children and their parents into thinking that guns are somehow bad.

That political motive makes these questions ethically wrong. Any doctor who asks them is committing a form of unethical conduct known as an ethical boundary violation. And any doctor who commits an ethical boundary violation should be disciplined.

Patients who file written complaints with respective state consumer agencies are rare, compared to the number of patients whose rights are abused. Patients fear retaliation from their doctors and medical staffs. Those fears are not unfounded.

Patients/families have been verbally abused and chastised by doctors and medical staffs for refusing to answer gun questions. Doctors have even denied care to children whose parents have refused to be submissive to these ethical boundary privacy violations.

In reality, state agencies rarely do anything other than notifying a doctor of a complaint — creating an even more hostile environment.

Patients and families shouldn't have to suffer in silence. They shouldn't be intimidated or coerced into disclosing personal information about their gun ownership to politically motivated doctors.

Unethical doctors who abuse your trust to advance a political agenda against law-abiding gun owning families must be stopped.

Dr. Timothy W. Wheeler is director for Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership, a project of the Claremont Institute in Upland, Calif.

I can't begin to even imagine my reaction to a Doctor asking such questions, but something tells me my retort wouldn't be pretty.
With any kind of luck, Florida Bill SB 432 (it is out of committee and March 28 the voting will begin) will put some teeth into enforcing the law regarding wayward medical personnel so I don't have to think about these scumbags any longer. Not that the new laws would be all that harsh, mind you, as repeat offenders could remain at their present places of employment.

Every facility needs a well manned janitorial staff.

Public Service Announcement To The Hosts Of "Cutlery Corner"

Mid-November
"Now these here are new knives and forgive me but I don't remember the names of 'em..."

Mid-December
"Now these here are new knives and forgive me but I don't remember the names of 'em..."

Mid-January
"Now these here are new knives and forgive me but I don't remember the names of 'em..."

Mid-February
"Now these here are new knives and forgive me but I don't remember the names of 'em..."

Mid-March
"Now these here are new knives and forgive me but I don't remember the names of 'em..."

One might expect that after seeing the same "new" products for over 4 months, Mr. Todd Boone would finally remember their name, but since Mr. Boone knows nothing about modern cutlery it is unlikely he'll expend the effort to familiarize himself with his employers product...

Operation Odyssey Dawn

By Jim Garamone
American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, March 23, 2011 - While Operation Odyssey Dawn brewed up quickly, the U.S. Navy already was positioned for operations over Libya, the chief of naval operations said here today.
Navy Adm. Gary Roughead told the Defense Writers Group that having Navy ships and submarines in the Mediterranean Sea enabled a quick response to the order that began Operation Odyssey Dawn.
"The need, for example in the opening rounds, for the Tomahawk strikes, the shooters were already in place," Roughead said. "They were already loaded, and that went off as we expected it would."
The Navy's top officer said he is pleased overall with the operation so far. The actions against Libya marked the first time the converted ballistic missile submarine USS Florida was used in combat, and basing the coalition's joint task force aboard the USS Mount Whitney has provided flexibility, he added.
Roughead said he also is pleased with the performance of the EA-18G Growler, the Navy's newest electronic warfare aircraft. The five-jet squadron had been flying missions over Iraq, but was quickly moved and began flying missions in support of Operation Odyssey Dawn just 47 hours after recovering from operations over Iraq, he said.
The admiral also praised the tactical recovery of two F-15E Strike Eagle airmen who ejected over Libya when their jet had mechanical problems. The USS Kearsarge launched a V-22 Osprey that got in quickly and made the recovery, he said.
"The way it came together, the synchronicity of operations, the involvement and coordination among the different participants [went] quite well," he added.
Roughead said the Navy can continue supporting operations as long as it takes.
"That's what you get when you have a global Navy that's forward all the time," he said. "We don't surge, and we don't ride to the sound of the guns. We're there, and when the guns go off, we're ready to conduct combat operations, or, as you see in Japan, ready to conduct some pretty extensive humanitarian operations."
In the run-up to the operations, the admiral told the group, the Joint Chiefs of Staff deliberated on the military actions that would be required. Roughead said he was particularly concerned about Moammar Gadhafi's integrated air and missile defense system. Though the system was old, he said, "I don't take any of that for granted. If someone is going to put a missile in the air, you don't say, 'Oh, it's an old one, I'll worry about it later.'"
Logistics was another concern, Roughead said, but the Navy's robust presence in the Mediterranean comes with re-supply ships afloat and depots ashore. The global supply chain has worked well, he said, adding that he anticipates no problem in keeping operations going.
From a funding standpoint, Roughead told the defense writers, the operations are not especially costly.
"When you look at the expenses of what we in the Navy incurred, given the fact that we were already there, those costs are 'sunk' for me. I'm already paying for that," he said.
The service did incur additional flying hours, and the Tomahawks will be replaced from the existing inventory, Roughead said. (of which there are more than 3500: Fits)

I'm receiving a veritable deluge of email from Marines in the near and far east. All hands are on deck and the situation is well under control. Also, there's no link to the above as it was dispatched via snippets of reconstructed emails so as not to piss off the non-combatants who get pissed off easily.

America And The Libyan Civil War...

Yemeni forces have fired on protesters. Syrian forces have shot down protesters. Security forces in Tunisia have killed protesters. Why no help for those freedom fighters? What happens when Saudi Arabia royals are forced to use violence to hold power? Or when Iran cracks down on another popular uprising? An argument can be made that stopping the Iranian autocracy would be more consequential to stability and peace than removing Gadhafi—even if he is a few dirham short of a dinar.

Since President Imadimeadozen has assumed office, Iranian news agencies have broadcast over two dozen declarations of war against America proclaimed by this little sicko, so I guess the next time he declares us DOA Emperor Obama will cruise missile his ass back to the sand dune he sprang from.

All together now, let's hold our breath. Not. Even if the citizenry rises up and gets squished by Iranian tank brigades.

Elizabeth Taylor Dead At 79

Although she'd acted in many films before Cleopatra, most of them were chick-flicks or dramas far too weighty for a kid to appreciate, so the mangled 1963 Hollywood stab at Roman/Egyptian history became the first time I really noticed Elizabeth Taylor.

After all, what else was there to look at? Richard Burton, he of the pipe-stem arms trying to look as if anyone would believe him capable of lifting let alone wielding a sword? Nah. Lizzy was the show. Damned fine actress.

Time Travel: Barack Hussein Obama...Circa 2002

Good afternoon. Let me begin by saying that although this has been billed as an anti-war rally, I stand before you as someone who is not opposed to war in all circumstances.

The Civil War was one of the bloodiest in history, and yet it was only through the crucible of the sword, the sacrifice of multitudes, that we could begin to perfect this union, and drive the scourge of slavery from our soil. I don’t oppose all wars.

My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton’s army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain.

I don’t oppose all wars.

After September 11th, after witnessing the carnage and destruction, the dust and the tears, I supported this Administration’s pledge to hunt down and root out those who would slaughter innocents in the name of intolerance, and I would willingly take up arms myself to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.

I don’t oppose all wars. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of patriots, or of patriotism. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other arm-chair, weekend warriors in this Administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne.

What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income — to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression.

That’s what I’m opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics.

Now let me be clear — I suffer no illusions about Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal man. A ruthless man. A man who butchers his own people to secure his own power. He has repeatedly defied UN resolutions, thwarted UN inspection teams, developed chemical and biological weapons, and coveted nuclear capacity.

He’s a bad guy. The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him.

But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history.

Forget for a moment that the 3rd Army didn't see any of the atrocities Senator Obama alluded to, nor was it probable that his grandfather was in the 3rd Army, but that still remains debatable so I'll let him have it.

This is the same anti-war nutcase who vilified President Bush. Making him a turncoat to his own cause.

What Do You Call "Libyan Government Using Journalists as Human Shields"?

A good start.

Tempest Tossed

The fruitcakes over at the Huff & Puff Post...and let's never forget the Kos Kids...are going ballistic over their lord and master's decision to eradicate Kaddafi.

Remember now, this is the same guy who soon after taking the oath of office decided to dole out nearly half a million semolians...of your money...to the Kaddafi Family Charity. THAT had the lefty slugs singing in the streets.

Thanks to I Hate The Media, from which I also purloined the Bush/Barry pic. In pencilneck Barry Boy's dreams he looks half as good. In Bush's nightmares, he awakens next to Michelle.

New Additions To Fort Fits

Rossi .357 snubnose. Zero Tolerance 0300. For me, durn good glove compartment residents. For, well, you know. When them Japanese fallout zombies attack Florida.

The Scum Always Sinks

Tactical Gear Magazine featured the following:

The fear mongers have begun their attempt to turn tragedy into big bucks. Bastards. Hard to sell anything that'll stop a tidal wave...or tsunami (translation from Japanese: "the water is high in the harbor today") as the hysterical media is calling it, but with the threat of nuclear-created zombies on the horizon, these cretins hope to fool the foolish into parting with their hard earned cash.

But they really shouldn't feature Japan. To date, there hasn't been even ONE report of looting in the land of the setting sun. Think of what it'd be like in Detroit, or D.C., or L.A., but wait...none of those dirty places have nuke plants. Phew.

Dueling Morons

Stuttering Todd Boone: "We sell so many of these, ah, um, customer appreciation specials, Jim..."

Jiggling Jimmy F.:"Ya know, Todd, we've sold close to a million of these sets..."

Stuttering Todd Boone: "Now, ah, um, he means over time..."

Jiggling Jimmy F. :"That's right, over the years, ah, over some..."

Stuttering Todd Boone: "That's right he, ah, means over, ah, time, not all at once... and so many people pay their gas and their electric and ah, their food..."

Jiggling Jimmy F.: " Oh sure, and folks, if you don't think he's wrong then you're incorrect...That's our way of saying how we feel about Americans..."

Stuttering Todd Boone: "Well hey there Jim, since yer feelin' so good how's about givin' me a raise?"
Jiggling Jimmy F.: "Bend over Todd and I'll give you a raise right now..."

Actual words. Simply can't make this stuff up. From a man whose grandchildren watch the program.

Obo Attacked Libya Because The U.N. Demanded He Do So

Antiwar liberal and libertarian politicians like Ron Paul have attacked President Bush for years on Iraq and Afghanistan, even though Bush openly sought and received congressional authority for both military actions.

Here we have a clear-cut violation and abuse of presidential powers, and where are all the Code Pink, MoveOn.org, Ron Paul antiwar types?

Who in the U.S. Congress -- specifically in the Republican-controlled House -- is going to launch a full-scale investigation into Obama's dictatorial use of military might and begin impeachment proceedings?  Who in the US Congress is going to put a stop to the growing insanity?

We have a runaway government acting against the interests of the United States and beyond its legal authority.  Does anyone have the backbone to stop it and hold Obama accountable?  Will there be an international war crimes trial for Barack Obama?

Basically, Barry Soetoro considers the U.N. to be HIS Congress, and has simply bypassed the American people yet again.

No fan of Kaddafi or Obama so this is a tough one. A thieving dictator in the Middle East or a thieving dictator in Washington. Decisions....decisions.

Japan: Report From Marines In-Country

Quick note to let you know what's happening and a sincere "thanks" for your
note of concern...it's not taken for granted and appreciated greatly.

We worked all weekend...(Air Station is normally limited hours on
Saturday's, closed Sunday's)...open 24/7 now in support...our guys/gals will
be fairly ragged soon.

MEF pushed 8 Phrogs (CH-46) and 10 or more C-130s North to Iwakuni over the weekend.
A Joint Task Force (JTF) was established by USFJ...led by Army 3-star; his
deputy is the Division's CG...(our guy), a 2-star select.

31st MEU is inbound...MEB has moved forward as well...JTF will attempt to
establish its HQ at Sendai Airport once they can get in there and clear some
things....(but a third reactor just blew, not sure how close they get just
now).  Devastation truly is "atomic equivalent" in nature....entire villages
(cities)..gone, "everyone" within their populations (in some cases
10,000)...missing or dead.  Damage isn't isolated to just Sendai
area....over 10 cities we're taken "out"....gone, off the map, along with
their people.  I cannot write this without tears...it's that bad.

Helos from Oki, Korea, supporting...with as many fixed-wing as possible as
well...all branches of service.  Flew all weekend myself, along with our
other OSA aircraft (3 jets, 1 C-12 from Oki), Two C-12s from Iwakuni,
getting people up to Yokota (Tokyo area), Iwakuni, Atsugi, etc.... Most will
move forward into the disaster area when able to support what will no doubt
be a very long recovery process and HADR ops.  My XO is flying today...(I
was scheduled to, but was pulled off the sched to support other ops).  XO is
flying the Generals over the latest reactor explosion area...(above what's
now becoming a nuclear cloud).  USS Ronald Regan floated through the "cloud"
yesterday and became contaminated to a degree.  Helo's are doing the same,
and have to be "decon'd" upon returning to base....rescuers and victims are
becoming "exposed" to the radiation, and unfortunately for now, the end
isn't in sight as to how bad the nuclear situation will get.

Thanks again XXXX....I'll keep you updated when I can.  Appreciate the
prayers for all....(wx's been good, but rain and snow are moving into today
up there, as if the people weren't suffering enough).  At times like this,
all one can do is their best, and remember, God has a plan we sometimes
don't understand, but have to trust, He's in control.

Smitty

The Trapper Engraved With The Lord's Prayer According To James A. Frost

Want Your Knaaaaaf Engraved With The Lord's Prayer? Then Cutlery Corner Is The Place To Go

Then into the original Latin translation
Pater noster, qui es in caelis:
sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
adveniat Regnum Tuum;
fiat voluntas Tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
sed libera nos a Malo.

On to English

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Frost Cutlery
Our Father which art in heaven...

Now, do not believe for one moment that James A. Frost used the old English Anglican version, substituting 'who' for 'which'.

People who do not speak, read, or write English all that well quite often use who for which. Confusing the illiteratae isn't all that hard, especially when they're pimps and grifters to begin with.

Moral of the story: All crooks need to succeed is a healthy thief gene (yes, there is one), so don't go honoring folks who got rich quick by cheating.

Mid-December

"Now this here is our Acrylic kitchen knife set that sells for $24.99 but the problem is we're running out of stock so get yours now..."

Mid-January

"Now this here is our Acrylic kitchen knife set that sells for $24.99 but the problem is we're running out of stock so get yours now..."

Mid-February

"Now this here is our Acrylic kitchen knife set that sells for $24.99 but the problem is we're running out of stock so get yours now..."

Mid-March

U.S. Begins Military Assault on Qaddafi

President Obama announced Saturday the authorization of limited military action in Libya as the U.S. launched its first attacks against military targets of Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi.
The Pentagon says 112 Tomahawk cruise missiles have been launched from U.S. and British ships in the Mediterranean, hitting more than 20 Libyan targets along the Mediterranean coastline.
Navy Vice Adm. William E. Gortney, director of the Pentagon's Joint Staff, told reporters the Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from one British submarine and a number of American destroyers and subs. He said the success of the mission was not immediately clear, adding that additional attacks would commence later.

Know what is particularly interesting about all this?

In Iran, we have a dictator who has openly declared war upon the United States, aided our enemies in the killing of American troops, and is building nuclear weapons.

So we bomb Qaddafi. Sounds just like something Bill Clinton would do.

Messenger from Earth reaches Mercury orbit

After three flybys of Mercury over the last three years, the Messenger spacecraft is poised to settle into the first-ever orbit by a manmade object of the planet closest to the Sun. The goal of the mission is to provide scientists with data on Mercury unparalleled since the Mariner 10 spacecraft passed by three decades ago. And the more we understand about Mercury, NASA says, the more we'll understand about how the other rocky planets in the solar system--Venus, Mars, and of course, Earth--formed and evolved.

I'd forgotten about the Messenger spacecraft and am gleefully awaiting the first pictures, scheduled for March 29.

Cutlery Cornered

"Now you know what they say, Todd. Give a man a knaaaaaf (sick) and you done made a free-end (friend) for laaaaaf (sick). And he ain't gonna say hows come you didn't gimme a German knaaaaaf (sick). These here knaaaaavs (sick) cut just as good as any does (sick)." James A. Frost.

sic–adverb Latin . so; thus: usually written parenthetically to denote that a word, phrase, passage, etc., that may appear strange or incorrect has been written intentionally or has been quoted verbatim.

Problem is, there is no "sic" for quoting the incorrect spoken word, so from here on in we'll use "sick" to describe the meandering, faulty, and counterfactual deliberations of the folks from Cutlery Corner who speak English just about as well as a gaggle of wetbacks fresh from the border.

"...and you kin sell these knaaaavs (sick) ta pays for yer gas bill your re-ent (rent), your keepin' yer heat on, the lahts (lights) on, and we sell a lot of these specials to churches too so they kin make ends meet." James A. Frost, grifting hot and heavy for total morons to buy his pot steel then try to re-sell them to even bigger morons.

We've been shining a light on these cockroaches for some time now, and with a modicum of success. Old Todd and Tom and Man-Hands Sheila and of course Jimmy-Boy Frost hisseff can't help themselves from lying because it comes easy to professional liars, but at least they try to refrain from outright stealing the intellectual property of real knife makers.

"Custom"
made to the specifications of an individual customer (often in the combinations custom-built , custom-made )
"...and here we got this custom knife with the delrin handle and mother of pearl..."

"Custom-made by James A, Frost hisseff..."

"And a Combs-Custom to the first caller picked from a hat..."

Frost Cutlery does not make custom knives. What they do do, is fracture the definition of the word to include anything they've never made before. Catch a crook and he'll struggle to change is MO because at the end of the day its far easier to steal than go to work for a living.

There is nothing wrong with selling a less expensive knife, or car, or home. What's wrong is lying about the point of manufacture and stealing patents and trademarks instead of taking the time to familiarize oneself about modern steel and designs then focusing upon whatever genuine aspects of individuality is likely to nudge a customer into making a purchase. But along with his penchant for outright thievery, James A. Frost has an ego the size of Sheila's Man-Hands and cannot bring himself to simply tell the truth. A good salesman can sell ice to an Eskimo. A bad salesman can't sell ice in the Mohave desert.

"And the handle of this knife is celluloid and gives a good grip..." Todd Boone

Celluloid is the name of a class of compounds created from nitrocellulose and camphor, plus dyes and other agents. Generally regarded to be the first thermoplastic, it was first created as Parkesine in 1862[1] and as Xylonite in 1869, before being registered as Celluloid in 1870. Celluloid is easily molded    ivory replacement. Celluloid is highly flammable and also easily decomposes, and is no longer widely used.

China and Pakistan and India continue to use various celluloids in place of modern plastics. Not that Todd Boone would know anything about modern plastic or steel or design.
