The Election Was A Success So Now The Lefties Can Ask Why We Didn't Give The Iraqi's Debit Cards Too

For U.S., a Hard Road Is Still Ahead in Iraq

For the Bush administration, the apparent approval of Iraq's constitution is less of a victory than yet another chance to possibly fashion a political solution that does not result in the bloody division of Iraq. (emphasis added)

Dayum hoss, but this major stunning amazing wonderful thing called democracy coming to a nation that was mired in barbarism doesn't even give the loony left pause as they rush to downplay a modern wonder in the making. "Less of a victory" in this case is akin to saying that well sure we won WWII but it was really really bloody and shouldn't be called a victory, and by the way, how come we didn't give all the surviving German and Japanese people their very own ponies?

("Ponies", FDR mumbles as he rolls over in his grave, "how come we didn't think of ponies...)
