Shooting From The Hip
The Schork Report, a newsletter focusing on energy issues, this week notes that since the first Super Bowl, in 1967, the price of gas has risen 13-fold. Since 1967, the face value cost of Super Bowl tickets - Schork split the difference between Sunday's $600 and $700 tickets, calling it $650 - has risen 65-fold.
