-Ladies/Gentlemen,

Our 5th SMMC, SgtMaj Dailey passed away yesterday in Southern California.

SgtMaj Dailey will always be part of our Marine Corps legacy, he served in 3

wars and his decorations include the Navy Cross, the Silver Star, the Bronze

Star Medal with Combat "V" and the Purple Heart. He was 90 years old.

SgtMaj Dailey was the oldest living SMMC. Memorial Services will be in

Newport Beach, Ca on 9 July at 1100 at the Church of Latter-Day Saints, 2150

Bonita Canyon Drive, Newport Beach, Ca. He will be laid to rest in Pleasant

Grove, Utah on 12 July. I plan on attending both services. Semper Fi.
