Reason # 7642 Why The Mainstream Media HATES Blogging...

Like when the jerkwads from the MSM present such nonsense as the Bush-US Servicemen tele-conference being staged and by golly one of the fella's who was THERE reports upon what REALLY went on...

They Call Us, "Doc"
"Yesterday, I (bottom right corner in the picture) was chosen to be among a small group of soldiers assigned to the 42ID's Task Force Liberty that would speak to President Bush, our Commander-in-Chief. The interview went well, but I would like to respond to what most of the mass-media has dubbed as, "A Staged Event."First of all, we were told that we would be speaking with the President of the United States, our Commander-in-Chief, President Bush, so I believe that it would have been totally irresponsible for us NOT to prepare some ideas, facts or comments that we wanted to share with the President.

We were given an idea as to what topics he may discuss with us, but it's the President of the United States; He will choose which way his conversation with us may go."

Now, granted this single event is a tempest in a teapot, but that's precisely HOW the liberal press erodes the truth, one small, semmingly innocuous little fib at a time. It's erosion that wears down the tallest mountain, and it's the erosion of confidence that can wear down even the most stalwart of souls, such as what happened with Vietnam.

But we've said it before and most likely will continue to say it again and again; they are not the only game in town anymore. And citizen journalists are kicking their leftwing asses.
