Whoops...The Flood Waters Weren't Really All That Toxic After All...

Sounded bogus from the get-go, but remember that the doomsayers were predicting they'd find thousands of dead bodies clogging the Big Easy's streets, and the media pressed forard without even looking for a dissenting voice.

Well, we did. Called the local water testing facilities and were basically told that MOST water doesn't stand up to today's ridiculously high standards for human consumption and we reported upon it, omitting a great deal of the conversation to keep the tone light and to not get anyone in trouble for telling the truth which boiled down to a "what, you're kidding, right?" response. The key is to NEVER speak with a boss if you can help it.
