Ruminations upon a desultory phillipic...

As I reflect upon the past year, one of the truly heinous scams to come down the pike was the stem cell fiasco. From the get go we said that if there was anything real about this research, private industry would be dumping tons of cash into it, and always, ALWAYS take a hard look at something that's going to be the next best thing since sliced bread BUT will only work if the government spends the money.

The koreans were lying, and loons the world over should be apologizing to the unfortunates they led to believe were awaiting a cure if only the Bush administration would act. It was nothing but a political con job, but the worst sort of con imagineable. Remember Johnny Boy Edwards promising cripples that they would someday walk if only people would vote for him and the traitor?

Boggles the mind that ANYONE could be so easily fooled by these cretins, and since THEY won't apologize, take my sincere regret that me and others like me didn't fight hard enough to expose these assholes. I tried, others tried, but then went on to other things to complain about. Can't fight every injustice every day, but shit like this pisses me off.
