March 23, 2008 -- "Who knew that Jesse Jackson was "a typical white person"?

Well, he is - if one accepts Barack Obama's definition.

Thursday, the Democratic White House hopeful addressed a lingering controversy over remarks in his landmark speech on race, in which he admitted that his own white grandmother "once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street."

Speaking on a Philadelphia radio show, Obama explained the remark this way:

"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person."

Now, it's nice to know that Obama's grandma isn't really a racist, but merely a - "typical white person."

(Talk about racial profiling.)

But imagine the public outcry if Hillary Clinton publicly referred to someone as "a typical black person."

Besides, if it's only "a typical white person" who is afraid of black people on the street, then consider this statement:

"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery - then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."

Obama's grandmother?

Not quite.

That was the Rev. Jesse Jackson, speaking to a Chicago rally of his own Operation PUSH back in 1993 - when public fear of violent crime in urban America was endemic.

(Who knows? As a community organizer on Chicago's South Side back then, Obama might even have been in the audience.)

Actually it's kind of ironic: Last fall, it was Jackson who accused Obama of "acting like he's white" for not making a bigger issue of the Jena 6 assault case.

But if Barack Obama still believes that only "a typical white person" thinks that way - or if he actually believes, as he apparently does, that there is any such thing as "a typical white person" - well, maybe the Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the only one who mistakenly thinks that "no progress has been made" on race in America."

If ANYTHING good comes out of Obo's run for glory it'll be America awakening to the hate that spews forth from many black pulpits.

While most of America was doing its level best to shed the precepts of an ugly, racist past, well-to-do fearmongers were doing everything THEY could to keep the fires burning. We knew of the prominent ones, the Sharpton's the Jackson's, and the FairyKhans but here's hoping that like shining a bright light on a cockroach, the slithering race-baiters will crawl back to whatever filthy hole they emerged from.

But that will only happen if we keep the spotlight on cretins such as Obama and his insane preacherman, because the Yellowstream Media aids and abets ALL attempts to keep Negroes hateful and apart from modern civilization.
