"Why does she go on like this? Does Clinton privately believe that Obama is so incompetent that only she can deliver the policies they both support? Is she simply selfish, and willing to put her party through agony for the sake of her slender chance? Are leading Democrats so narcissistic that they would create bitter stagnation even if they were granted one-party rule?

No, no, you simply don't get-it.

The Clinton camp is betting that the Wright fiasco is but the tip of the iceberg, and that while the media, just as yourself, David, seems to believe that Obama has weathered the storm, he's shown an Achilles heel that can be attacked again and again and one or two MORE such holes in his leaky ship will cause a Titanic-like disaster.

Hillary's job is to sweep the remaining states and convince the Super-Delegates that Obama has had his day in the sun and is falling fast. That he was a flash in the pan and has not sustained the momentum necessary to defeat McCain.

All the Clinton camp need do is let Conservative talk radio hammer away at Obama's loyalty to a man who led a privileged life as a young man and grew up hating the very country that blessed him so, just as Wright has done. Even the Mainstream Media will HAVE to join in with the chorus if it means ratings, and meanwhile the Clinton's are feverishly looking for yet another story by which to attack him.

Hillary is betting the bloom is off the rose, David. And why she's doing it should be obvious to anyone paying even the slightest bit of attention to the Clinton Dynasty.

She is ENTITLED to the job.
