G.I.'s and Syrians in Tense Clashes on Iraqi Border - New York Times

Will these fools never tire of straining to reach a comparison between Iraq and Vietnam. NO Cambodians came across the border to fight us. North Vietnamese regulars, some fleeing VC...before we eradicated them in 1970 or so...along with various Chinese and Russian advisors would take the roundabout route through Cambodia and into the South.
In Syria, it is the SYRIANS and other meatbombs who cross from THEIR lands into Iraq, thus making them and their border fair game for military actions. They are invaders, they want to kill Americans, and mining the area with our own improvised explosive devices...ALL explosives are improvised in one way or another or I've forgotten where the hand grenade trees grow...is one heckuva good idea. As a start. The most troublesome areas will have to be made a no-mans-land, a place of certain death for intruders, and the sooner we all get about the business of making it so, the sooner these cult killers will either run out of morons or go play somewheres else.
