Hillary Has Life Left In Her Because...

by Peggy Noonan

"Did she come back because Mr. Obama's speech got a little boring? Was he coasting and playing it safe? Or was it that he didn't hit her hard enough? "He hasn't been able to find a way to be tough with a woman opponent," they say on TV. But that's not it, or is only half the truth. The other half is that it has long been agreed in the Democratic Party that one must not, one cannot, ever, refer to the long caravan of scandals that have followed the Clintons for 15 years. "We don't speak of the Clintons that way."

But why not? Everyone else does. Yes, the Obama sages will respond, that's the point: Everyone knows about cattle futures, etc. Everyone knows that if you Yahoo "Clintons" and "scandals" you get 4,430,000 hits.

But what if they do need to be reminded? What if they need to be told exactly what Mr. Obama means when he speaks of the tired old ways of Washington?

But voicing the facts would violate party politesse. So he loses the No. 1 case against her. But by losing the No. 1 case, he loses the No. 2 case: that she is the most divisive figure in the country, and that this is true because people have reason to view her as dark, dissembling, thuggish."

Hillary Clinton is all that and a bag of chips, but the real reason she 'came back', is a twofold one.

I was wrong. Enough Republicans thought it'd be cool to vote for her in Texas and she squeaked out a victory. Of sorts. Wasn't anywhere near enough to garner the votes she really needed but enough for Jurassic Pressers, particular the insulated and inbred D.C. ones such as Peggy Noonan, to seem like a rousing win. In Ohio, the Democrat machine is so all-encompassing that the Clinton-Loving-Governor guaranteed her a win months ago, then delivered. She had little to do with it save for loosing a once insurmountable lead so as to make it seem like something of a horse race.

And the real reason trueblooded Dems don't talk about the Clinton scandals is because they don't believe them to BE scandals, just the, to them, quite natural king-like supremacy due a liberal Commander in Chief.

This is why we have a tough time beating the lefties. Our own pundits and 'experts' cannot see deep enough into the liberal mindset to understand what liberalism is all about. Except for Limbaugh. Problem with that is, while he may very well have 22 million listeners, the rest of the country thinks he's an idiot, and pays his prognostications scant attention.

"Oh, thats just Rush stirring things up." They don't see lefties as the socialist fiends they really are, and in the spirit of bi-partisanship (Translation: unconditional surrender) search for that middle-of-the-road as if it were the modern day Holy Grail.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is a monster. Barack Hussein Obama is a monster-in-training. Neither should be leading the Free World, and it is bold testimony to the power the Yellowstream Media that either has gotten even this close.
