Subject: Russert to Speak at VVMF In Memory Day
Greetings! The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is excited to have nationally known journalist Tim Russert as the guest speaker for our annual In Memory Day Ceremony, which will be held this year on April 17.
Russert is the moderator of "Meet the Press."In Memory Day is one of the most poignant ceremonies we hold at TheWall. It is where we honor those who died prematurely from noncombat injuries and emotional suffering caused directly by the Vietnam War, but who do not meet Department of Defense guidelines to have their names included on The Wall.
This year, 86 new inductees will be added to the In Memory Honor Roll. And the names of all 1,515 past honorees will be read.Sharing the stage with Russert will be members from the Geary family.
Paul Geary was a childhood friend of Russert's who died in 1999 as a result of his service in Vietnam. He was inducted into the In MemoryHonor Roll in 2002.To read the full press release, click on this link:http://www.vvmf.org/index.cfm?SectionID=464.

I've let my feelings about Mr. Russert to be known to Ms. Rotondi, and was the gentleman I always am. I refrained from calling this scallywag, low-life liberal son of a bitch, a scallywag, low-life, liberal son of a bitch.
But did let the Gentle Lady know that neither I nor any member of my family will participate in ANYTHING featuring a member of the Mainstream Media who has given aid and comfort to enemies of these United States.
A great many of the event organizers are all a'giggle over having so prominent a personality participating in these services, and I for one have long since given up trying to educate them as to who these cretins really are and what they stand for. I pass along the information because I'm a good Marine, and folks can make up their own mind about scallywag, low-life liberal sons of a bitch.
