At first I was all a'twitter about the Sergeant York Project. Lots of eggheads getting together to pinpoint precisely where old Alvin did his thang.

Then it all fell to shit.

I've seen pictures from the site they've identified. The rounds they excavated were not 30.06, but 8 mm's, and these dolts don't even know it.

Brasssy things that look really really old, and golly, they sure look like mean old bullets so it's prolly what York used!

And they weren't even casings, but full cartridges that were obviously of French or German design.
