The following sure isn't making ripples anywhere else, so why not. First off, if I had a dime for ever time Zarqawi or bin Laden with visions of naked little boys was killed, surrendered, or came down with a terrible case of the mumps, I'd treat the better half to one helluva dinner. And B, who cares? Well, we care, that's for sure because knowing what country old Al was in at least pinned his location down somewhat, so if this is true it's back to square one in finding the crazed asswipe. Guys like Zarqi don't just up and break camp without a specific plan as to where next to wage war on civilization, and this is bad news if he drops off the radar. Then again, the guys at Stop The ACLU feel that in some alternate universe this is good news, so it just shows to go ya that there's a sucker blogged every minute.

Al Qaeda in Iraq and its presumed leader, Abu Musab Zarqawi, have conceded strategic defeat and are on their way out of the country, a top U.S. military official contended yesterday.
The group's failure to disrupt national elections and a constitutional referendum last year "was a tactical admission by Zarqawi that their strategy had failed," said Lt. Gen. John R. Vines, who commands the XVIII Airborne Corps.
"They no longer view Iraq as fertile ground to establish a caliphate and as a place to conduct international terrorism," he said in an address at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
Gen. Vines' statement came as news broke that coalition and Iraqi forces had killed an associate of Osama bin Laden's during an early morning raid near Abu Ghraib about two weeks ago.

My contention has been since 2003 that the best chance for a big attack by Al Qaeda would be a small arms attack in the USA.
Twenty or 30 crazy Moose Limbs, all with AKs all screaming allah allah, all shooting the targets they know they they can defeat, unarmed Americans, would be a helluva maneuver for Islamofascism worldwide.
The next best is France, and I suspect that the French riots just a few weeks ago could possibly a diversionary operation to allow weapons/personnel smuggling into Eurostan.
