Minutemen: If Government Doesn’t Build Border Fence...
"If the government doesn’t build a security fence along the Mexico border, Minuteman Project border watch leader Chris Simcox says he and his supporters will.
Simcox, whose civilian watch group opposes illegal immigration, said Wednesday that he was sending an ultimatum to President Bush to deploy military reservists to the Arizona border by May 25 or his supporters would break ground on their building project.
“We’re going to show the federal government how easy it is to build these security fences, how inexpensively they can be built when built by private people and free enterprise,” Simcox said.
The Minuteman Project is taking donations.
One Minuteman spokesperson estimated the fence would cost $10 million to $12 million, to start. He said $10,000 in donations were pledged in one day.
“What are they going to do; send the National Guard down to stop us?” asked Chris Simcox, of the Minutemen. “I mean, they won’t send the National Guard down to protect the United States. I wonder if they’re able to force an American Tiananmen Square situation, where we have our officials coming down stopping American citizens from protecting their own property.”

That's one of the things that makes us different than Europe, or South America, or Canada, or virtually ANY place else. We know WHO the country belongs to, and it sure isn't a gaggle of ragtag criminals no matter WHAT the Liberals and the MSM say.
And unlike the Europeans, et al, if our elected representatives don't get the job done, then by all the gods we'll do the friggin thing ourselves. It's what makes us different from any other group of people who have ever lived. If this thing is legit they'll get a fat check from yours truly, and you can bet your ass I'd be there locked and loaded if the call to arms went out. Any member of law enforcement or the military who would try and prevent the construction of such a necessary barrier between us and the animals is a traitor and will be dealt with as we've handled such before.
Some things are NOT negotiable. Our country's sovereignty is one of them.
Build the damned thing or we will.

A wall of the sort WE envision will never, I'll type this slow for the contrarians who live in some unknown dimension where reality is somehow obscured by ego, NEVER be built. Of fucking course the "fence" proposition is a fallible undertaking designed to bring attention and wake-up calls to the slumbering multitudes. Congress will not vote to erect a Great Wall of Arizona, or California, or Texas. Not going to happen. A modern fence would slow down unsophisticated alien intrusions, and if this is an incorrect statement then please reference previous attempts that have failed. Having it only YOUR way or no way is what 5 year olds ask for, and grownups understand that getting the general public accustomed to the idea of a fence, then calling attention to how it will need fortifying, is an incremental step in the right direction.
We have reached the point in our history were huge steps in any direction are no longer possible. Liberal politicians aided by the leftwing media obfuscate and lie to keep the sheeple unawares of reality, and this isn't changing anytime soon. Bringing the country back to the one the Founding Father's envisioned is not happening overnight no matter how much we wish for it.
This time around, it's going to be harder than kicking the Brits back to Europe. This time, the enemy is us. Not the illegals because there will always BE illegals wanting in. You don't fight a battle, let alone a war, without knowing the enemy. Conditions have eroded to the point whereby patriotic Americans are forced to provide work for Mexicans and Asians and Europeans, so it's a great deal more complicated than brick and mortar barriers. The Nation is in dire need of an overhaul, and such a task is going to take as long as it took to fuck things up or even longer.
Whining like schoolgirls that it isn't happening all at once is what keeps us on the losing side. Appearing to be crazed rednecks is what frightens the sheeple into agreeing with the Loons. Everyone is, by law, granted the right to an opinion. Opinions that are heeded are the ones that work, and scaring the women and children into disregarding the real issue is what allows the enemy to prevail. Let's try not to supply them with the ammunition to defeat us because what's at stake isn't just a few Mexicans scampering across an unguarded border. Our very culture is at stake as the multi-culturists strive mightily to destroy what was once America.

Politicians in Texas border counties campaign by waving around bolt cutters and proclaiming that no barrier will be allowed to stand. Ranch owners don’t even bother to repair their fences any more because they just get cut again, on a nearly nightly basis.
How will the Minutemen keep their fence in repair? What will stop the beaners from snipping the wire and just walking through?
We need a wall not a fence. It's nice to see Americans doing something for themselves instead of relying on government to do it for them.
As a matter of fact, yes, I am an asshole, but a predictable one at least. There's this new thing you can look up called MODERN AGRICULTURE. Other countries are employing it quite well and as cheaply as our "10 cents a bushel" illegals. Agriculture is the absolute LEAST of our worries with regards to economic adjustments, and since you didn't know that, it means you've been sipping from the Liberal manifesto and not bothered to learn anything for yourself. That puts you at the 9 year old level or even worse, an adult who refuses to read. but you DO have my sympathies for being led down the path to illiteracy.
ALL industries went through such growing pains when forced to rid themselves of undocumented workers. Immigration services would march through steel, automobile, and you-name-it factories weeding out the illegals until one problem or another was taken care of.
Guess they just DON'T teach this shit anymore.
PS: the single largest employer in the entire country doesn't hire illgals, so maybe you could look up how THEY'VE managed to survive. Sorry, forgot that you sort don't do anything but memorize "10 cents a bushel" type-ins.
