Pastor Wright Blames...Well...Us For His Mistakes

Wright Talks 'Public Crucifixion'

DALLAS — "The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the embattled pastor of presidential candidate Barack Obama, gave a 45-minute sermon on Sunday that included a reference to his “public crucifixion” for past comments from the pulpit.

Wright received a standing ovation from the 4,000 worshippers at Friendship-West Baptist Church, The Dallas Morning News reported on its Web site."

The more folks say that not ALL black churches are racist, fear-mongering America-haters, the more articles like this seem to appear front and center.

Now, the basics of American freedom are thus (included for the vagrant liberal who might not understand); You say what you want to say, and as long as what you are saying doesn't cause direct harm to anyone...such as the much loved liberal caterwaul of 'shouting fire in a crowded theater', then you're good to go.

All men of good will happened to despise the words coming from this bigoted race monger, and that was their right. Just as it was his right to utter such depraved filth.

But freedom for ALL isn't something that people like Pastor Wright go to bat for. Freedom what for what THEY believe? Sure. That and a bag of chips. Taking one's lumps and sticking to one's guns DESPITE criticism is the sign of an individual certain of his or her core values. Whining and moaning and complaining and all that weepy crazy dude jazz is the sign of a certifiable lunatic.

You believe America to be run by the KKK? Or That AIDS was created to kill blacks. Or that the thousands killed on September 11 had it coming. Or even the premise that God himself hates the United States?

Okay. But expect to take some hits. And you might want to man-up, Rev. Both you AND your followers. Showing some backbone would be a terrific way to prove that at least you weren't talking out your ass.
