So here's what happened:
I asked the phone company to set up an unlisted number. They did. At someone else's residence. They cut MY phone service off, gave me someone else's active phone number, and they mine. Which meant that neither could use the phone.
Priceless. That's kind of all they have to do, assign and activate phones, and they royally screwed the pooch.
It's going to take me some time to catch up on email, etc, but we'll be raring to go shortly.
Unless they frig with me some mores.
