Basically, you may sell or trade anything you own, without having to first obtain a license to do so. Say, like your car. Or an old TV. Or a book collection, or some old records. You are not in business, not a dealer, and do not need permission from anyone as long as the property was legally yours to begin with.
If you set up shop, then you become a professional and yes, you must have various licenses and permits to operate a business.
Loons the world over detest gun shows. There, one may sell or buy a gun from another private owner, and gosh gee willickers, but how COULD THEY allow people to sell their own goods. These are the very same loons who'll nail up a Garage Sale sign on every telephone poll in the known universe each and every weekend just to be rid of THEIR property, but would refuse YOU the right to do with as you please with your own. NO individual at ANY venue may sell a weapon to a minor, the same as no one may sell off their spare 6-packs of Budweiser to a child.
Pssst...it's called common sense. Do something illegal, like taking a 15 year old into a bar, or handing your car keys to a 3rd grader, and gosh, there are ALREADY laws to punish the guilty for allowing certain items and substances into the hands of a minor.
We do not need MORE laws. We DO NEED the EXISTING laws to be enforced. And yes, sorry about that, but you illegal aliens must go home or we'll track you down and trust me, that won't be pretty.
