In a stunning announcement early this afternoon, democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama told a group of reporters that "Jeremiah Wright is nothing but an old racist pig who I never should have gotten to know in the first place. I stayed in the mans congregation for years trying to influence him enough to see the light and stop uttering such mean, hateful, racist and overall abominable statements about the human condition. Sadly, it was to no avail so I'm done with the old scalawag and I sincerely hope he rots in the same hell reserved for all race-mongers."
Pastor Jeremiah Wright was unavailable for comment.
