"Why aren't others joining the call for gun control?"
"Now comes a report that nearly half of people murdered in the United States in 2005 were black. Most were ages 17 to 29, according to numbers released last week by the U.S. Justice Department.
While blacks make up about 13 percent of the nation's population, they comprise 49 percent of all murder victims. And the vast majority -- 93 percent -- were killed by African Americans. Most likely wielding firearms.
We have succumbed to what the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence calls "a culture of death." We are playing with fire."
Laura Washington
So let me see if I follow you here; half of the nation's murder victims are blacks, killed mostly by blacks. So this is why places like D.C., and LA, and NYC don't want blacks to get their hands on firearms?
Because they can't be trusted to act like civilized human beings? They are, what...a LESSER species?
All this talk about gun control should then really boil down to keeping guns from black hands, because that would save the lives of 93% of ALL black people killed.
Wow. You really seem to have a point there, Laura. I disagree with what it is you're trying to say because I feel that black men in particular get a bum rap from a culture...by that I mean liberals...that has turned them into beholding victims, and instead of black-gun-control, I think it'd be far better to start kicking out the lefty politicians who've created an environment where negro men are killing one another at a record pace. ALL of the aforementioned cities are run by democrats, aren't they, Laura?
This giving you a clue, perhaps? Maybe the headline SHOULD read:
"Why aren't others joining the call for liberal control?"
Thanks to The War on Guns.
