New Orleans police to be ferried to Las Vegas to rest, relax, and take in some free shows as they recuperate from days and days of wet feet syndrome.
Not a joke...this is happening as I type...New Orleans is sending it's much needed law enforcement to party in Vegas. More on this as it develops.
UPDATE: The update is there is no update. Not a single news outlet mentioned anything about the Vegas-For-Soggyfeet-Cops program, but as we've said, it's a lawless town and staying on the good side of the cops is paramount if one wishes to get in the way of relief efforts without being shot at or asked to hand over your back-to-school supplies.
