"Holy Severe-Acute Res...Sorry Bruce, I Forgot The Rest"

Genetic Relative of SARS Found in Bats

WASHINGTON (AP) - Scientists in China say they have found a genetic relative of the human SARS virus in a local species of bat, raising the possibility that the bats were a primary source of the disease when it was transmitted to humans. After SARS first became a threat in 2002, research suggested...

Ah yes. Severe-Acute...not content with severe or acute, they simply MUST waggle poor English in our faces. I guess Really-REALLY Sniffly can't be made into an acronym and that's all that counts. 98% survival rate renders this bad case of the flu neither severe nor acute but if the entire world caught it all at once there'd be hundreds of millions of deaths so as always, I miss the big picture.

Now if we could only get the orientals to stop sucking cat blood through a straw from dirty mystery barrels, then persuade the africans to at least try to wean themselves away from monkey fucking how cool would that be.

But the whole thing is a canard cuz it's genetic mumbo jumbo and genetic research means evolution and there's no such'a thing.
