I can't seem to find any indications of the Europeans offering to lend us a hand with Hurricane relief, and since I KNOW they've been bending over backwards, especially the French, I must have missed something.
I mean, back when the Tsunami did all that damage they called us stingy bastards because our government only quadrupled THEIR contributions before our private sector did the same, so they gotta put their money where they usually keep a foot, right? Hell, every time the Germans got greedy we gave 'em back their countries, we kept the Soviets at Bay, and not a one of 'em has to spend squat on defense so the check's gotta be in tha mail. Right?
