Lem is featuring the news that:
"The (Pakistani) government has blocked all websites that carry caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on the Internet, and the attorney general has been asked to explore legal avenues for implementing a global ban on these sites."
Now, even the Catholic Church wasn't this bad, at least not in the past few hundred years or so. Every Sunday we'd have to take a look at the new CONDEMNED LIST posted in the vestibule of the Church. On it was a list of the movies we weren't allowed to see. Nowhere was the thought that anyone else shouldn't see them, or that they should not be made, although they'd have certainly preferred so. For us it was a STRONG SUGGESTION, and I kid you not, there were more capitalizations than in a Kim du Toit rant. We got the message, and our parents were glad that THEY didn't have to go see every bloody movie we kids thought was going to be cool. Call it an early try at a ratings system, and yes, I do believe that for children there SHOULD be some way of identifying programming that is adult in nature.
Not the (ptooey) moslems. They want the WHOLE WORLD to kowtow, and to that, dear reader, I send them a hearty FUCK YOU.
PS: Told ya so. Watch out for those emoticons as well.
UPDATE
WOODY has his take on the deal, and I've been trying to access Lem's page but not having any luck.
LEM is taking exception with the Turbanators too, which was the reason behind this post, but he's updated, so check it.

I found a good cartoon to go with that post, but blogger wasn't accepting uploads at that time. I'll try again later.
You know we've both been wanting a fatwa to be pronounced against us. This counts.
Hope so........
